Aramex (Fastaway) Delivery Error

Australia's least favourite delivery company?

Has delivered my package to an address in the wrong city. Claiming the vendor gave them the wrong address but won't provide me with the delivery receipt or details… The address on the vendors invoice is correct.

Has anyone had success in sorting out a misdelivery? I was thinking about heading down to my local subcontractor depot and asking if they could troubleshoot the f-up.

    isn't it the senders problem to chase up a missing or incorrect delivery?

      That's correct. You don't know if the sender or Aramax has made the mistake. But the seller is ultimately responsible to chase it up with Aramax and get it sorted out.

    • True, but just a print out might indicate who (profanity) up when opening a dispute. At the moment all I have is a sad smell.

    Good luck getting your package, Aramex needs to go…. When I see a business that uses them, I don't buy with them.

    I had a package from Melbourne to Sydney, took 3 weeks and I missed it cause it stated it was in Melbourne but the next morning it state it was going to be delivered. Wtf? I missed it, wrote to Aramex that I will pick it up from the depot, they said all good and I got receipts. Kept messaging them for a week and nothing…. Can't pick it up cause nothing is registered.

    After 1 week, the tracking number said… "Return back to sender"… Wtf!? The sender contacted me and I said I got receipts that I will pick it up. I also said don't use effing Aramex. I didn't want the items anymore and got a refund.

      This was back when it was Fastway, but yeah, I've had long unexplained delays for a delivery, followed by a misdelivery (fortunately to a sorta close neighbour so I managed to grab it before it went missing). Got in contact with the driver, but he insisted it was delivered to the correct address. Numbers on the front of the box and the numbers on the gate of the property? Completely different. Complained on their support site but didn't get a response from that channel until over 6 months later.

      The front of the box also said "signature required", but it was dropped behind a gate without shelter on a day which was drizzling rain. Obviously no-one signed for it.

      I won't ever have anything to do with the company now. They can change their name, but they don't change their spots clearly.

    Aramex/fastway are a bunch of clown. Chase up seller or paypall/cc refund. Dont waste time with aramex/fastway

    Long days for crap money, the job tends to attract certain types of people. Ours is pretty good and we don't have any problems.
