The Gooloo GP2000 is usually popular at this price, it should be sufficient to jump start most engines.
Great price on the GP3000 and GT3000 too.

These are great. They've got me out of trouble on a few occasions. I keep one in each vehicle.

    It won't start my car

    • +1

That's because your car runs 6v this is for 12v applications 😀

    • Post of the day

  • Love mine, used it dozens of times.

    • Only started the car once with mine but I have used it to charge phones and laptops and other such things quite a bit. Never let me down. I always check it's recharged up every few months.

    Excellent device.
Got about 20 jumpstarts out of 1 charge.

Recommended not to leave it in your car, but I like to live dangerously.

    • So where else would it be best to leave?

    • +1

Not leaving it in your car would defeat the purpose of having one?

  • +1

Have the GT3000. 3 years old, used a fair bit. Charges up well.

    Worth it

  • Used about a dozen times and now it wont even charge. Out of warrenty too

    • +1

Mine also won't charge, I left it uncharged for long, so I think it died

      • Yep same here. Right when you need it the most after so long. It literally becomes land waste and cant do anything about it as the warranty has expired.

This is probably a silly question but is there any way to test that this works before you actually have a flat battery? I already own one but I haven't needed it yet.

    • +1

Run your car battery flat once on purpose. Leave the light on or whatever. Use this to jump start your car.

      • +1

now that would be awkward if it didn't work..

    • +4

You can try it with the battery disconnected.

    Thanks got GP3000.

  • Any opinions on https://www.amazon.com.au/TREKURE-Starter-Compressor-Battery… ?
I am looking for jump starter but having air compressor is bonus.
    Not many reviews on Amazon

Go with Gooloo, at least they have a history of honouring warranties.

I've got a Gooloo GP2000, and it's been able to jump a Ford Territory, Rav4 Hybrid, and some random's Skoda. They were stuck at the shops looking a bit baffled… very happy for a portable jump as they had also parked in a way which would have made it very difficult to access to jump them from another car.

    • I used mine for the first time recently, well twice on once day actually. NP300 Navara and an older BT50. It didn't break a sweat with either.

Thanks OP grabbed a GP3000. Been hanging out for one of these. My original GOOLOO 1200A one died last month after almost 4 years, but it was a complete trooper until it carked it.

  • What's the difference between the GP3000 and GT3000?

Thinking to get a second unit for the car. The Baseus 20000 jump starter I bought a couple years ago has been going strong for the motorcycle though! Japanese SS, at full charge with 2 jumps leaves about 20% which (I haven't needed) could probably get me over the line for a third jump..

    • +1

The main differences that I can see are that the GT3000 has an lcd screen in place of the GPs led indicators for things like battery percentage and errors, it also has 100W PD input/output so it can be charged faster and used to power a device like a laptop that supports usb-c power.
You can check their website for the details. https://gooloo.com.au/products/gt-3000?variant=4466205291339…

        Legend, thank you!

  • This is a very good jump starter. Recommend the gt3000 or gt4000

    • Thanks for the comment. Can you share your rational please - I have a WRX if that helps?
