Standing Desk Frame Recommendations for Larger Desktop

I'm in need of a electric standing desk frame due to some recent health issues.

I'm in need of one that supports a a 2400x600 desktop (a kitchen benchtop I bought at bunnings a few years ago: https://www.bunnings.com.au/kaboodle-2400-x-600-x-38mm-smoke…).

Does anyone have recommendations for ones they've bought for similar dimensions? Thanks.

This one has caught my eye but if there are similar ones for a cheaper price that others recommend, I'd be keen to take a look: https://updowndesk.com.au/products/updown-desk-pro-series-el…

41kg for just the top without anything on it is a big task for a standing desk, so I wouldn't go too cheap. I generally reccomend the IKEA (~$750-790) one because they tend to be reliable and well-supported, but their range maxes out at 70-75kg.

This "Lazy Maisons" one is definitely cheaper, but I've never seen that brand in the wild.

    • Appreciate the response, will have a look at those. The one I've been looking at in the link above supports 150kg so yeah, definitely not looking to cheap out too much given I need something that'll hold this stuff. 70-75kg might just be enough, but I guess it's the peace of mind as well that comes with more support! I think that price range is in the ballpark I'd be looking at.

We bought a (single motor) Desky recently and we're very happy with it. Looks like the dual motor frame will fit a 2400mm desk.

    • Yeah I did see that one, and that's a decent price, i just didnt see the contraption with the buttons that lifts it up (at least in the first few pics, just realised it's in the last pic).

How's the single motor fared for you? Has it been sturdy? Any excessive wobbling?

My wifes uses it for work and shes pretty happy with it. She has a laptop and 2 x 27" monitors sitting on it and its pretty stable with no excess wobbling. I've used it a bit myself and find it bit sturdier than the Ikea we use at work.

        • Perfect, thank you, I think this is the one I'm going to go for, appreciate it!

Just bought a Desky, and it's been pretty good. A little over priced though.

    • Single motor or dual motor? How much did it set you back (if you can share)? The one the user above suggested I've gotten for $649 with the sign-up code excluding delivery

Dual motor, just under $1300 with the acacia 1800x750 acacia top, and cable bar underneath.
