[Hack] 1 Impossible Range Pizza + 1 Value Range Pizza for $18 before 4pm (via 2 Value Pizzas for $13 Lunch Deal) @ Domino's

220

So. Mods can fix this up however they see fit. I'll include a (ideally) brief summary of how we got here, but long story short, if you use the 2 for $13 lunch deal at Domino's for 2 value pizzas, but select a pizza from the Impossible range, it will be put through as one of your 2 for 13, but with the maximum additional surcharge of $5. Which in turn, makes it 18 total, which is exactly what the Impossible pizzas cost on their own. So long as you don't add any additional ingredients to your second (value) pizza, the price will stay 18 total, thus, a value pizza for no extra charge. This only works with the 2 for $13 lunch option, it does NOT work with the 2 for $13 code, believe me, I've tried

Long story (ideally) short

So the other day, we had a vegan friend over for the night and we were going to get a late breakfast / early lunch and nothing that would suit all of us was open, bar Domino's. Sweet, we'll use that "buy one premium get two value pizzas" code. Oh, shit, that was for yesterday only? Crap. Okay well let's use a 40% off on her Impossible pizza, that won't be too bad. Oh, shit, the Impossible range doesn't count as a premium or traditional and you can't use any coupon codes? Crap. Okay well (profanity) it let's just get the damn pizza, but I may as well tick the 2 for 13 box and save a dollar on the two values me and the missus would have got. Oh, they don't have lamb anymore? (Profanity) me, Jesus Christ, whatever. Oh, what's this? It's linking her Impossible in with this, and it's only $5 more in surcharges, wait, 18 total? Isn't that…isn't that exactly what I was about to pay for her pizza anyway? Well I'll be (Profanity).

Stupidly, while messing around with the menu, I found you can't sub ANY ingredients in, so if you get a spicy lover, take off the jalapenos and red onion, tough shit, you can't add any extra meat or even a sauce as you normally could, without incurring extra costs. Stock value pizzas only, with the exception of free condiments like chilli flakes and oregano.

This loophole does NOT work with the 2 for 13 code, strictly only with the 2 for 13 lunch deal option on the site itself, or else I'd link the code.

Long and short is, if you have a couple of vegos in your squad, and you're going for a pizza lunch, might as well throw in a free pepperoni margherita.*

*I got a free pepperoni, personally.

No wonder it is impossible 😀

    • Ditto. I intended to get my usual of a spicy lover, sub jalapenos and onion for lamb and peri peri sauce. It went pretty goddamn hard for the price. You will be missed. Pepperoni was fine. Been spoiled by all the Menulog codes as of late, been getting actual pizza shop pizzas again, shits all over Domino's, and I'm a Domino's defender for the most part.

    • The pizza has cheese so how exactly is it vegan?

      • +1

The impossible range of pizzas are not vegan only vegan meat.

      • She got it without cheese, can't do dairy.

    • I'm the same but their vegan garlic bread is awesome.

So what you are describing is essentially: Existing promo, add surcharge to substitute a pizza.

Can't see the point of going around the bush and phrase it as full price pizza get a free pizza.

No one on Ozb will be paying full price for domino pizza anyway.

    No hate, just stating observation.

      Definitely agree.

The Impossible pizzas are just a massive rort. Never hurts to publicize a way to take back a few bucks from Domino's.

        • +1

There's no vegan cheese on the impossible range so what are you talking about?

          • @shaibankek2: Oh there is a version when I googled it, "Vegan Impossible Supreme", didn't see that OP got the normal one.

I never knew ordering pizza entailed large amounts of swearing..

So the other day, we had a vegan friend over

    Sorry to hear.

She's "one of the good ones" TM

  • The description first made me think it might be 4 for 13

  • If you have vegetarians in your squad, their paneer pizzas are pretty good.

  • (Profanity) gold :')

why is half of OzBargain always so unbelievably desperate to let everyone know they don't like eating vegan food?

"I'll pass on the vegan food" — "None of that vegan crap for me thanks!"
Cool? Okay? Thanks for letting me know how much of an edgelord you are I guess?

  • If you can’t find any coupons you want to use but want to grab something from Dominos that’s never / rarely discounted. You can get 10% off anything pretty easily on mobile.

It’s not much of a saving, and might be common knowledge anyway. But i have used it a few times to get the pepperoni stuffed crust cheesy bread for $4.50 instead of $5.

Add anything to cart in mobile app. Then swap apps / go back to home screen on phone with Dominos app left open in background. Should get a notification after 10 to 20 minutes offering 10% off to complete your order. Clicking notification adds coupon and usually takes you back to start of process but with a 10% coupon sitting in cart.

Unfortunately if you've used any other coupons (including the ones in app like 2x value pizzas for $13) it tends to come up with an error.

But you can get stuff slightly cheaper than some deals they have. Like you can get 2x value pizzas for $14, minus $1.40 with 10% off so its $12.60 instead of $13.

Or a value pizza and a pepperoni stuffed crust cheesy bread is $12, minus $1.20 its $10.80. Whereas a pizza and side is $11 and you get charged $2 to upgrade the side and save nothing.
