What you need to know

  • New and Existing customers for Woolworths Online Grocery are determined by Woolworths, not Cashrewards.
  • Cashback is eligible on purchases of gift cards.
  • Cashback is eligible on substituted items.
  • Cashback is available on groceries purchased from Woolworths Online Grocery.
  • Cashback is available on items purchased from Everyday Market by Woolworths

Cashback is ineligible on the following:

  • Purchases made via the Woolworths app
  • Packaging (eg. paper bags for groceries).

    So what’s stopping people buying thousands of $$ in gift cards and getting 20% off petrol/future shops/JB/Apple, etc? I’ve never seen gift cards included!

            @linkindan: The Woolworths website will take you to the gift card portal. In a similar offer last month, when I emailed Cashrewards about the gift card portal, they replied that gift cards purchase via Woolworths will be eligible for cashback.

      In the previous offer, gift cards were included too for New Woolworths customers. Cashrewards confirmed that gift cards were included when I emailed to check in the last offer.

      You search for gift cards on the Woolworths website (via Cashrewards). This will take you to the Woolworths gift card website. No one has mentioned if they bought gift cards or tracked successfully in the last offer.

        When I search, it comes up with all the cards, capped at 5 cards with a max value of $2500

    I've purchased a $500 GC to test this, nothing in the app after two days, will chase it up if it's not showing by end of next week.
