Heyoo. Long time reader, first time poster.

The mob I work for and design with are doing a clear-out on our ultra-compact Class-D 6 channel power amplifier.
120W per channel, Class-D, soft clipping and optional woofer EQ on two channels.
The unit is 167 x 171 x 77 mm (WxDxH), about the size of 5 Bluray cases stacked on each other.

All our prices are in USD for reasons I won't bore you with.
Anyway, we're clearing our winter stock, we have about 10 of these left at $200 off the usual $695 with the code at checkout - IAAMEW2K24
Deal is good until the end of August, or sold out.
Shipping within Australia is a flat $20 USD, ROW is $40 USD.

This is direct from us, the manufacturer, with full warranty and all our products are Australian designed and made.

Involve Audio are a Melbourne based audio R+D company who have been around for a long time but focus more on our I.P. than anything else. But we do sell products that demonstrate our technology. Please check out our other stuff if you're into surround / quadraphonic / electrostatic speakers.

Cheers
~David

  • May I ask what kind of amp modules are used?

    • Class-D based on a Texas Instruments topography.

  • Aussie designed and made… Why charge in USD for Aussie customers?

    • Unfortunately this was out of my hands; our biggest market by far has been the U.S. and we're a relatively small team. We will eventually offer geo-located currencies, but it has never been a priority.

120W into 2 ohm. Couldn't easily find 4 ohm and 8 ohm values - can you provide please? Thank you

Apologies, I think that's a spec error on the site based on average ratings and single-ended performance. We're using a parallel bridge-tie per channel to increase the driving capability. Keeping the THD comfortably low, It's capable of 180W into 2 Ohms, 100W into 4 Ohms, and 65W into 8 ohm. THD does vary with frequency of course, and the soft clipping does give you a little more headroom, but it's sufficiently loud and clean. You're welcome to come and demo it if you're anywhere near Mentone / Moorabbin.

  • Interesting product, just wish home theatre receivers / pre/processors would come on half width sizes.

A nice compact pre/power setup would be great.

We have a stereo/quad extractor called the Surround Master which can act as a preamp in the same profile but slightly shorter, and currently working on a preamp in the same case. So, watch this space I guess :)

  • Good to see Aussie stuff. I moved away from multi channel setup in home. I like everything dual mono, stereo.
