Hi Scotty
I'm running Firefox ESR 10.0.10 on 64bit Windows 7.
When I run a search, sometimes the Advanced Options link/expandable-popout thing don't get rendered. Othertimes the link becomes active.

Any ideas what could be going on?
I believe this has only changed in the last month or so.
Also, just wondering if it is not too difficult that you could add an option to a user's profile allowing them to specifiy their default search/sort criteria.
When I enter a search, I want my results listed as sorted by posting date by default.
thanks
Well. Here's the technical answer.
The drop down arrow next to "Advanced Search" is rendered after everything on the page is loaded — images, Javascript, etc. HOWEVER sometimes something took ages to load, and the culprit is usually with the ads (not the Google one, but the banner on the right), as Google sometimes out-source those ads to 3rd party networks that might have a buggy ads showing.
An easy fix would be for us to render the dropdown arrow as soon the main content is displayed. I'll look into that.
