Haven't tried these personally but reviews are good for the price point and I have the Space Q45 which have been great!
Other deals on OB seem to be around the $90 mark so this seemed like a decent price for my first experience with earbuds.
They are currently $84.99 on the Australian Soundcore website.

Apply LIDLSOUNDCORE at checkout to get it down to $76.50.

You can also use the code to get the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC down to $106. I highly recommend them. As good as Airpods Pro but a fraction of the price. Best gift I have given myself in a long time.

    • I currently use Soundcore Space A40 ANC. Is it any better? I'm thinking to upgrade but don't want to spend too much.

      • +1

I can't compare as I've never used A40s but reviews suggest the Liberty 4 NC is a marginal upgrade so probably best to make full use of your A40s.

      • How’s your experience with call quality when on the streets or noisy environment? Is A40 good for you? Some people say they are terrible for calls.

        • Call quality isn't bad for the price point.

    • Good tip!

Also noticed that you can get the new p30i on sale, $53.

  • (profanity)

  • these or the samsung buds 2 pro?

  • Great earbuds at this price range as long as you're not comparing it against those $2-300+ ones.

    • Haha. That was pretty much what happened to me.

I had some NuraLoops that I was getting sick of because of connection problems, and not liking the over ear design or wired connection between each ear piece any more (nothing wrong with the sound though). The connection issues put me off their NuraBuds or whatever they were called, and these were getting positive reviews at the time and were said to punch above their weight, so picked up a set.

They're not too bad for the ~$80 price, but neither sound quality or the ANC is as good as the NuraLoops (with the ANC being the most noticeable to me), so I have to keep reminding myself they also don't cost anywhere near as much!

But for the convenience of proper wireless buds, I'm happy enough with them.

I normally use them for bus ride and also used them for my long haul flights earlier this year. Gets the job done but at the same time i'm not very picky. I'm not a music fanatic that I can tell the difference between $100 vs $300 headphones so it never bothers me.

It's in a price range where I know i'm getting something somewhat decent but wouldn't cry over it if some accidentally lost one (or both) somewhere by accident.

Hardest thing with buying earbuds is guessing if they will fit and not fall out of your ears.

    • Never having owned earbuds, I am nervous as to whether these will fit, but given no chance to try them there is no way other than to pray and try.

  • Just bought a pair after considering spending $300. They are replacing some free Motorola buds I got with a phone purchase five years ago so I'm sure they will feel great. Hopefully they go okay with plane noise. Will post a short review once I get them!

    • I've had mine for a few months now and they've been good. Haven't experienced Bose ANC and can't accept the Sony software that you need for their buds, so decided to go with the budget option. Blocks plane noise fairly well - you can still hear most announcements, but not a lot else thankfully. Indoor swimming pool is the only place they really struggle, but that is a pretty stern test….

I paid $100 a while back though - would have been even happier at this price.

      • Thanks Extremophile! Have you had to use them much for calls? Sounds like the ANC will be perfectly sufficient for my use case.

        • I’m interested to know about calls as well. Other people say they are terrible in a noisy environment.

          • @inubaran: So I completed the plane trip and can confirm similar to @extremophile that these did a decent job of blocking noise. Like most ANC they aren't good at blocking sharp sudden noises. I've found them good for calls for work and nobody has said I sound bad so I presume it's not terrible.

            • @JohnnyO: I like this, it’s just keeps falling off my ears. My ears prefer the deep in-ear ones. Here’s what I’ve tried and what I kept:

Soundcore a20i - no multipoint, cheap, good app, fit is alright for me, small case

SoundsPEATS Mini HS - multipoint, fit is great (no wingtip option but deep in-ear and small), crappy app, cheap, plasticky feeling of the case

Soundcore A40 - good app, good case, small case, multipoint, fit is not great for me as this is not deep in-ear and no wingtip option

Baseus Bowie MA20 Pro - good app, good case but bulky (this is the let down for me), good fit with wingtip options, nothing special on ANC (another let down as they claim they are better), multipoint

EarFun Free Pro 3 - surprisingly this is great, good case, small case, multipoint, good fit with wingtip options. I’m keeping this.

They are all ok for casual calls with not much noise in the environment. I’d suggest Soundcore A40 and EarFun Free Pro 3.

              • @inubaran: Yeah I've heard good things about the earfun! I will stick with the a40s for now as they are doing the business. One day I might splurge but far more important expenses in life!

  • I got mine but not sure if it’s just me as it fits terrible. This is similar to my airpods pro which falls off my ears even though I tried all the tips hence I’m looking for a better one. Jabra and SoundPEATS are the best fit for me. Jabra is ok overall but heard that they closing the earbuds business. SoundPEATS mobile app is not great.
