Phwoar, cracking value. I've been spoiled, using the 5/8ah batteries in my brrr brrr gun and blower, don't know if I can go back to 4ah… Maybe indoor batteries

    Thanks OP

4 (or even lower) is great for single handed low power devices (drills etc). Much lighter to handle and still plenty of runtime.

      • exactly, and cycling through multiple lower capacity batteries is not only lighter in hand, but prolongs battery lifespan and theoretically allows unlimited runtime (battery 1 is fully charged again by the time you've drained battery 4).

Too bad I'm with the Ryobi eco-system. Are there any Ozito tools that are better/equivalent?

  • +1

is it just me or doesn't seem to be any stock for Vic for even delivery.

    • +1

      You are not alone.

      • Decided to bite the bullet and buy here in Vic too but same issue

Hope I'm not preaching to the converted; I use these on many other brand tools, DeWalt, Ryobi etc and even Dyson. Adaptors are available , on eBay,Temu and other marketplaces. Never had a single issue with crossbreeding. Much cheaper than OEM batteries and 3 year warranty.

      This is the way

    • Good plan. Might see if I can design a 3D printed one.

    • How do you know what adapters buy and from where though hmmm

    • This ^^
May be one day these batteries can charge directly via USB-C. Not sure if its intentional or lagging behind from these DIY companies

Can't find any in stock in Sydney.

    • free delivery

      • Not available for delivery to my address.

    • I usually see plenty of these at Alexandria and Kingsgrove stores

      • The 4 pack? Checked online both stores earlier and nil stock.

        • i meant at the actual stores though, was at both places last 2 weeks

Why isnt there something similiar for Ryobi batteries

  • anyone from east melbourne glen waverley area (3150) who wanna share 1 unit with me?

Now we need a deal on 4 Ozito coffee machines

    • +3

Ive also been told there is frothing drill bit attachment for an ozito drill to froth the milk. Use the hammer function for a cap.

    • Competing with MakitaI see… Lol

  • Any battery experts able to let us know what cells are inside and if it is economical to pull apart for the cells?

    • I tried but I just end up creating a circuit with my flathead

  • None in Victoria that I can see… All showing Sold Out

    • I overbought, have 3 that are unused if you still need.

Feel bad for people who still pay more for batteries of other brands.

    • +7

You dont understand the Milwaukee batteries are better because the volts are more premium.

  • Stock Check

7 in stock in Alice Springs… but yeah, I think we can call this deal expired/out of stock.

  • tempted to buy 4 so that 3 can gather dust while i proudly brag about how good a deal my unused batteries were

Oh, I'm already there - just moved 2 unused 4Ah batteries purchased when they were on special about 5.5 years ago….

… But yet this deal is still tempting. 🙄

  • +1

I caved to the deal, but don't need 4 batteries. When/if they arrive I will probably only want 2. Anyone interested in getting 2 of the batteries from western Melbourne hit me with a DM.

    • am keen to get 2 batteries from you..!! if the offer is available..!!

      • Can't send you a DM, but send one to me if you are interested.

  • Does anyone know how to order from these stores? I'm trying to place an order online, but it's not letting me choose delivery since it's not the local store. Even when I select a store with available stock, it automatically switches back to the local store when I click on delivery. Any tips?

    • +1

I’m having the same issue - the fact the remaining 7 units or whatever have lasted hours indicates you probably can’t do it.

    • +1

Arnt you supposed to be giving us tips?

  • When I got this pack I thought 4 would be totally over the top, but as soon as I started doing some work involving multiple tools the benefits are immediately apparent.

  • +1

I went to my local Bunnings in Caboolture QLD showed the bloke at the counter the deal and he sold me two twin packs for $129 as they had no stock of the quads.

    • Damn lucky, tried it at West Footscray. No luck

  • +2

I'm 3d printing some drill battery adapters. Are people just using automotive spade connectors as pins for these? Is there anything made for purpose?

    • +1

Some people are improvising with Reva peg hinge removed from the plastic peg.

      • Its a pity that there's not something that's more purpose built. Thanks I'll have a look at the pegs and see if I can cobble something together.

        • +1 for the pegs

  • Great price. Is there anywhere we can see compatibility list of what all other products Ozito batteries can fit into?

  • Road trip anyone? Alice Springs is only a short 23 hour drive from where I am. If we go with 4 people, we can split the petrol money for even bigger savings.

    • do you still need them? I got 3 spare ones

  • Great deal for a parallel battery setup for Starlink Mini

  • Managed to get the Ozito batteries and will get a Ryobi adapter. Can anyone confirm if the Ozito batteries (with the Ryobi adapter attached) will charge in the Ryobi 18V chargers? Or will I need an Ozito charger? Not sure if there is some quirky BMS in the Ozito batteries or Ryobi charger. Cheers

    • You should not be charging the Ozito in a Ryobi charger from what I've read, the adapter will only expose 2 pins, while batteries have more for other smarts. Unsure but you might be exposing the battery to issues like overcharging or overheating. I believe Bunnings have a $25 deal for charger and small battery.

  • Out of stock for delivery :(

  • ive made a 3D model for ozito -> dewalt battery adaptor, since there was none online.

PM me if anyone wants it
