Targeted deal for came up for me saying "JUST FOR YOU" "90% off Because of a recent purchase on Xbox".
So for whoever else qualifies for this, you can get the soon to be delisted Forza Horizon 4 ULTIMATE EDITION for $15 (cheaper than the standard's special price of $19 which I can't seem to get anymore anyway). This showed up on my Xbox store, Microsoft store, Microsoft store website, and pc Xbox app.

I have a screen shot, but not sure how to upload it here. If someone can tell me, I will upload it.

    I keep meaning to post something about this.
    It seems to come up if you owned any DLC but didn't have the base game (e.g. had game pass). Then they've sent out free keys for the base game and this offer to effectively upgrade to ultimate

      Cheers @daffyd . Possibly, as I did have the ultimate DLC. But I didn't get the free game code. The free keys were only for those who HAD the DLC and also had a FULLY PAID Xbox game pass subscription. I think I have only ever used $1 and limited free trials of Game pass so I probably don't qualify for the free game key / code / coupon. Either way, for $15, I won't argue.

      How do you get the free key for the base game? I’ve previously subscribed to GPU for about 4 years in total (just expired), have bought DLC for FH4… Is there anything I’m missing here?

    I got a code for the game through my Xbox inbox on the 29th of June, if that's useful. Not an email, a message on my Xbox console. Like if a friend messaged you, if that makes sense?

    It's also visible on the Xbox app.

    Here's my situation.
    I bought the ultimate edition upgrade back some time ago. I have played the game on Xbox with and without the disc, and on PC, I recently used another 7 day Game Pass ultimate trial. So maybe something there is triggering it.

      I did get this offer. I also already redeemed a free key for a standard edition from having bought a DLC previously and having (non-trial) game pass

      they will revert to a default / standardised playlist after that. Mostly to earn special car coupons of sorts (backstage passes?) to help people complete their car collections.

          I’m sure I did all the activities in a season once but I don’t have ‘Encore?’ achievement 😢

          I guess The Trial weekly event will end. I enjoyed that a lot…challenging at times.

      standard edition was $20 not two weeks ago. i would guess they will have it on sale again at least one more time in the two weeks, just like they did with Horizon 3

      No, but it's still very good, especially the DLC areas (Lego speed champions) also based in Europe rather than Mexico.
      Still worth playing in my opinion though. Horizon 4 and 5 feel very close, but 4 was a big leap from 3.

        I prefer the environment design and variety of FH4. And the changes between the seasons are amazing.

        It’s a beautiful game.

        5 felt a bit boring and drab by comparison.

          Yeah the season changes in FH4 were gorgeous. While it was a smaller world, it was definitely beautiful. That's not to say FH5 isn't amazing, because it is.

              @myfeetarehappy: I still boot it up once every month or two. Maybe I will get around to collecting all the cars, despite how tedious it's been with FH5 (I only missed 2 or 3 cars one month, the Alpha Romeo special month thingy).

        Thanks, I’ve only recently started playing forza, first time ever. FH5 for me drags on with so much cut scene and talking. But I enjoy it nonetheless, wish the player base was abit larger with people wanting to cruise around together

      Everyone has a different opinion

      For me, 3 is the best. It's just more fun and it's cool going around Australia.

      4 is fine and it's an upgrade.

      5 is where it got kind of tiresome and it's just more of the same. Less inspired, somehow less fun than 3 or 4
