It's cheap, but not great, ended up returning one of those to Bunnings.
Got this https://www.mitre10.com.au/buy-right-wheelbarrow-poly-tray-b… - which is down to $59, been good so far for the price.

Lol I hadn't noticed their tag line before:

      "Mitre10 the other hardware store"

    • Anyone else used the Mitre 10 wheelbarrow?

Much prefer the ergonomics of a Gorilla dump cart.

    • Once you use one of these, you'll never go back.

For somebody with a bad back, those carts are a godsend

I bought this from eBay. Steel tray and wide wheels. I had to assemble it but very impressed with quality

    • Nice, good alternative

Reviews say that this is cheap crap.

Yeah it is. I had one and the wheel locating broke very quickly. This wheel barrow is literally for performative purposes only, like a prop in an Instagrammers "yay look I am gardening" post. Then you've got to dispose of the damned thing….. Ugh.

      Well it is only 59…

      • +3

        Waste of $59 it seems.

    • cheap crap that i use about 4 times a years and has lasted like 5 years now. i mean sure go expensive if ur using it daily, but this it good stuff

  • +3

Please note this item is a lemon, bought one to help with concrete and it broke within 3-4 days of use and the build quality is really poor and will not last longer , may be spendings a few dollars on the reliable brand will kept you going rather than having this cheap crap .

Don't buy this, it's crap cheap junk. Broke in a week.

Mine lasted around 6 years. Left it out on the weather the whole time. Woulda moved 40+ ton of dirt and a shitload of turf, and mixed 60+ bags of concrete in it.

Only issue I had was the wheel went flat, so brought a new one about 3 years in.

      • Same here. But mine is still usable right now lol.

Mine lasted 2 years until it completely rusted out and fell apart. The plastic tub is now a bucket.

So if you want an expensive bucket it's highly recommend

  • My plastic tub has split in dozens of places (loading up with wood) plastic welded it a couple of times to keep it going but will definitely go for a steel tray next time

Light duty only! This is built to a price and will definitely not handle carting rocks/rubble/bricks/ pretty much anything heavy.
Would be ok to cart half loads of clean soil or chipbark etc.

But in all honestly this thing will break in short order, and then its even a pain in the bum to dispose of.
When you can get an entry level Sherlock for less than $100 more, this isn't the bargain you think it is.

  • I'm sure this is the one that we have where you can't stand up straight because the front bar digs into the ground. Have to hunch and push, perfect for that slaving in the mines feeling
