[NSW] Buy One Get One Free Milk Tea @ Teaspot Burwood/Eastwood

100

Looks like a 2 day promotion for yet another "Chinese Valentine's Day" (seriously how many of these are there?). Until August 11th, buy one get one free drink, cheapest one is free (including upsizing or toppings) blah blah you know the rest.

Promo Flyer

Only 1 offer redeemable per person, so you need to line up again if you want more than 2 drinks.

Teaspot makes pretty deep, flavourful but smooth tea with the instant brewing machine (similar to ChiCha), one of the better milk tea shops in Sydney in my view.

Nah.. it's not.. It's because Hey Tea just opened 50m down the street and it's more popular in China with arguably better drinks. Plus they are doing BOGOF as well to start their business.

    • Ahh I see, I don't go down to Burwood often so I didn't know. I checked Hey Tea's menu just now, not my style since it looks like they don't focus on the tea aspect at all.

Top 3 where they treat the tea right currently Teaspot, Chicha and Tea Shop Express imo.

Nah.. Tea & Co down the road is much better than Teaspot for straight tea with their steam brewing processes. Teashop Express in City is definitely still number 1 for me with Tea & Co second. Hey Cha is also very good with their straight teas as well in China, but I haven't tried it here yet since not worth doing BOGOF on it.

lol what are you smoking bro? Tea & Co are a literal copy of Teaspot….much more newer I admit but they have the same way of brewing tea. The rumour is Teaspot's ex staff stole the recipes and opened Tea & Co….the girl who sounds like a dude…..

@matashi1: "Rumour is"… Right.. we all live by rumours around here. Rumour is you're the one smoking the nonsense. LOL..

Funny how people get so passionate about one brand of a tea shop being better than another.. you know, based on everyone's sense of subjectivity. Seems like a few Teaspot employees around here that doesn't like to talk about the rather tough competition they are facing in Burwood. Least.. that's the "Rumour".. LOL

@bchliu: just wondering how did you get the impression I think Teaspot is better? by me saying they're the same?

i agree with your comment about Teaspot suffering though….a BOGOF promo AND constantly doing discounts since Tea and co's come in….they look like they're doing it tough….

but hey its what I've heard…I've been going to Teaspot since they first opened and have been going Tea and co too….indeed that chick has been working in both stores….I'm sorry if it offends your beloved Tea and Co in any way…

@matashi1: LOL.. Sounds like you're just a Homophobe from all your statements here about your obsession with that chick or something. You can't work in multiple stores now? Like working from Chatime to Gongcha because you just "stole" some company secrets of how to use a steam brewer machine from China like dozens of other brands that already uses the tech?? hahah.. You really know how dumb that sounds right?

Seriously.. wtf stupidity here. Go drink your own tea that you like… because other people have different opinions to yours.

Boring. No more replies from me.

                • @bchliu: wow, you’re really steeped in this, huh? Must be exhausting carrying all that bitterness and hate around. Maybe try switching to herbal tea, I hear it's great for calming down. But hey, if you ever want to stop being a keyboard warrior and actually enjoy some tea, I’ll be sipping happily at Teaspot. Maybe lets go enjoy this BOGOF offer together LOL.
