People who want to increase profits even further.
They could have done the marketing right. Get 10% discount if you book in advance. That's what OZB likes
Yeah this place knows how to rip people’s arms off. It’s pretty nice, and fancy but gee they charge for it.
My wife and I laughed at the reflexology part. It’s just river pebbles with some water. Pretty uncomfortable to walk on. Nice marketing.
I once went to a natural spring in Ecuador. Was in Baños, a small town next to an active volcano. The water was green and so cloudy that you couldn’t see more than 10cm down. Was boiling hot, was amazing.
Small world, I spent a few months volunteering at Fundación Arte del Mundo in Baños
Oh, that would be awesome to do! From my broken Spanish, it looks like a kids creative/interactive library? Maybe when my kids are grown up I could do something like that.
It's a beautiful part of Ecuador.
@Corgsta: Yep, kids interactive library. Read books and did activities with the kids during weekdays, explored the rest of the country on weekends. Also did some activities at local schools with the bomberos (basically setting stuff on fire and demonstrating fire extinguisher usage).
Tungurahua had a few minor eruptions while I was there; not enough to block the roads thankfully.
I'm not sure if the biblioteca interactiva is still open post-COVID, but if it is: take the kids with you :)
Was there 4 times since 2010 (10, 14, 18, 23) and each time they are getting worse. More expensive, more people, less service. Not sure if it worth going there anymore
Were there time limits last time you were there? That one pool at the very top from memory has 10min limit and they have staff patrolling.
This is the case with every single attraction in and around Melbourne - in the last ten years, the population has risen by a cool one million people.
These extra million people are all trying to attend the same venues and attractions as the four million people that were already here - with the result that everything is perpetually full.Even ginormous open air events with massive capacity like the Airshow and the Formula One sell out now.
The website has such a stupid background, it makes it look like my screen is cracked…
Far out I wouldn't trust bath houses outside of Japan
That's right, baby. I'm saving my hard earned dollarydoos for my impending Japan trip. I'm off to Beppu, the Onsen capital in the world.
Haha good work
Nice choice , I was just there during may, I also recommend kurokawa onsen which is nearby.
I went to an onsen town in Japan and one onsen had aussie teens in the onsen in their boardies. They also didn't shower before entering.
I would be torn between wanting to part of the Australian gang invading the onsen and part of the disapproving Japanese gang. Truly we are a contrary species
I think I'll stick to the White Swallow
Don't know what that is sounds a little questionable within the context of bath houses
Normally I have to pay people to come to a bathhouse with me, so I look forward to getting one for free
Booked for next Thursday! $63.63 for two people including a locker hire is not a bad price at all.
Who comes up with these surcharges?!
