Quick question. I currently have my Thread notification frequency set to #Send at most one notification between my viewings of the thread.
However, I seem to be receiving notifications every single update. It would be nice to have a setting for daily notifications like the PM option.
Thoughts?
Just to clarify is it one notification per viewing? Or one notification per each comment added? Because at the moment it would appear I am receiving an email for every comment added.
If your setting is

Then yes, it should only send at most one email notification between viewing. If you are getting one notification per comment, without actually coming to OzBargain view the page, then yeah there might be a bug.
Does that happen on all the posts here, or just some posts?
Hmm. Standard developer answer this time — "sorry it works for me" :)
I am getting notification once between viewing the page and it has been working for me even on busy threads. It's also good for OzBargain as we don't have to send out that many emails.
If you want to have a daily notification, you can subscribe to OzBargain newsletter, and at the last section of the daily newsletter there's a list showing all the threads that (1) you have started, or (2) you've commented on, that have replies since you last viewed the page.
