Good to get everything on Steam. Some of the games were given away on Epic and that's where my saves are but from what I've read it's easy to move your save over.

Planning on seeing the movie tomorrow, wish me luck.

I wonder if having played the games it makes the movie less awful. I'll probably attempt to watch the movie for free somehow.

      • +2

I heard the movie doesn't care about the game's lore at all so probably makes it even worse

        • Oh. Yeah, that would make it worse. I do usually like Jack Black. Not sure how much of a role he plays though.

I hear watching the movie makes you hate the game even more…

Movie is great…saw it yesterday with my kids.

We’ve played a lot of BL so know the lore. Don’t get hung up on casting differences eg. Roland…it’s a screen adaptation.

People so eager to hang shit on it without seeing it are missing out.

Glad you and your kids had a great time, that's all that matters.

    • Hooley dooley the reviews are horrific!

Are they trying to say the RRP for this is $910?

    Tell 'em they'r dreaming

    • it's 15 years of content right there matey, one of the best games franchise ever. And many of them are duplicates, like the same game but enhanced

  • I remember when you could go into that secret room in one of BL1's DLCs and it had oodles of insanely awesome gear but you could only get in there once and once only and with a limited timer but there was a bug where you could get in there more than once or was it without a timer? Good times.

Kinda annoying that I own all the base games except for New Tales from the Borderlands (which I don't want in my library), including the 1 and 2 GOTY editions, but it's still $36 to complete. There's really not that much value there, most of the borderlands addon stuff is junk, then there's Gearbox's bad behaviour where they stripped parts out of BL3 to sell as DLC, despite it being fully completed with the files included in the original game.

Doesn't include Tiny Tina's Wonderland either (which is a great game, highly recommend).

    • Wait this $973.01 pack is missing content?

I literally started playing the first borderlands again after i purchased my first ever vrr TV.
It is the same fun as the first time i played it more than ten years ago, what a game.

Really smart choice to go with cell shaded graphics. Makes it more timeless.

      • This game is a massive hit, guns are also great, open world is fantastic, looting gives that 'farmville' clicking satisfaction etc
This and Mass Effect are my favourite games ever

  • Only played Borderlands 1 (loved it) and first 7-8 hours of Borderlands 2

Did I miss out on much? What’s the best of the series?

    • +4

I think BL2 is supposed to be the best one.

      • +1

BL2 is easily the best one.

  • Grabbed it to complete my collection, only $22 for the stuff I needed. Beats spending it on going to see the movie at the cinema :)

  • Still cheaper than the movie. You will pay for therapy for decades after.
