Is it up to $20 a ride these days?

    • $25

    • I had a very Quick Look in all the places I’d expect to find it, but couldn’t find any mention of ride prices. So buying a “ride pass” actually gives you no idea what you’re buying. Quite scammy really.

Nearly jumped on it but then considered all the costs once you get there….. unfortunately out of reach for me at this time.

      I hear ya.

Last year we gave the kids a set budget that they could use it for whatever they want, rides, showbags, food. They planned in advance roughly how they were gonna spend it, and it avoided disappointment and unrealistic expectations on the day. Think i got the idea on here.

I think that's awesome. It teaches them to budget and plan too.

What will the weather be like on these days?

  • Well Melbourne has Four seasons in one day .., actually Five !! !

$4.18 service and handling fee on a $15 ticket.
Also it keeps declining multiple cards.

Spend money so you can spend more money inside.

  • Perth royalshow has free under 15 tickets this year. adults are 25.xx

  • Just take the kids to see the animals and the cakes. Surely they won’t be disappointed…

    • Is that on everyday?

  • Handling fee is a bit rich, but then again, so is everything once you actually get there.

Still, for fifteen bucks, I'll take the little one on a stroll and have a squizz at some animals and loud noises in the city. Cheers OP.

  • Bought $250 ride pass last year, and between the two of us it was not enough.

Add in entry cost, very costly event.

I know making money is the goal, but surely the rides need to have a $20 price cap?

  • Thanks heaps OP, despite the ridiculous cost, it’s still a fun and memorable day out with the fam, and great nostalgia for me. I remember my mum diligently saving up Herald Sun discount show coupons so we could afford to go back in the 80’s. Hope I can instill the Ozbargain spirit into the next generation.
