I'm not sure if this is an unadvertised sale or a website glitch but at the moment JBHIFI has 20% off DVDs and Blurays. EDIT It's a sale!

The 2 for $20 blurays are now 2 for $16

      I have the old DVD's too…definitely keeping them as well though….the Bluray episodes are the originally aired ones…not the extended episodes like in the DVD set. They miss some great jokes on the blu-rays…but I can't resist the upgrade in visuals :p

    It' like an enormous list of movies that I have either:

    A) watched too many times on TV to bother buying on Bluray

    B) Good movies but not ones that you watch over and over

    C) Movies I own already

    does anyone know if the friends set is same packaging as UK set? they look same online but haven't seen AU set in person. The UK set is kinda ugly once you open it up.

    friends dvd boxset i bought for 54 dollars from amazon UK maybe like 3-4 years ago.. check that site out for sales before purchasing blu ray edition from JBhifi.. just incase there is a major difference in price, I still prefer buying region 4 locally, but lowest price wins 9 times out of 10 when product is identical

      Actually Friends and Hitch are both one of the rare occasions when buying locally works out cheaper however with hitch we get one less movie than the US set(North by northwest) as for Friends I believe our local version is missing the Episode guide book but I haven't confirmed as yet.

        The JB website mentions having it:

        So hopefully it's there! I'm going to go instore to get it today, so can confirm later :) Just wish they were the extended episodes!

          Definitely comes with the episode booklet :) The presentation of the box isn't as cool as the DVD one I have….but can't complain for the price and upgrade in visuals ^_^

      Apparently not, I had a quick look and couldn't find anything with free delivery, unless you were willing to pick-up in store.

      I looked at a few items, and none of JB's prices (with discount) were better than Fishpond's prices, and Fishpond DO have free delivery.

          With Myer every store is drastically different in what they stock.

          There was Batman Rises, Project X, and a few others that I forget in a new release rack in the one I went to. They were 50 to 20 as a marked price. They sometimes scan cheaper than what they say.

    Don't like their $0.99 per unit shipping. Buy 2 for $20 becomes almost $22. After 20% discount, instead of 2 for $16, ends up closer to $18… While it may still be good value, a lot of them can't be picked up in store and it sure has stopped more impulse buys from me.

    Actually, I like their $0.99 per unit shipping.

    I've had speed troubles with the site all day, making it impossible to add things to the cart and changing pages successfully takes 30-45 seconds.

    EDIT Tried with IE. A bit slow, but works. Chrome doesn't. Interesting.
