Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Refund

I purchased black ops 2 from DSE a couple of days after launch. I've been having a lot of problems with it on my PS3, in particular it keeps freezing my system. It's pretty well documented and apparently the last update was meant to fix it but it didn't. Under these circumstances would i be entitled to a refund from DSE?

    How is that DSE's fault?

No I dont think your entitled to one, maybe if you took it back within 5 days of purchase, but you have left it too long.

Put the game away for a couple of weeks and let the devs fix it, or continue with it.

I have ps3 and blops2 and have had freezing issues too, but in recent days its been literally non existent.

    • DSE will send it back for you

  • Yes, you are entitled to a refund. You bought something and it does not do what it is supposed to do. Go to Fair Trading site and see for yourself.
What does it have to do with Dick Smith? Plenty, they sold it to you!

    • That's what i was thinking. I think a lot of people just put up with the problem because they are so desperate to play it. By the time they fix the bugs it will probably drop in price, or i could of just bought it off ebay for cheaper.

  • or you know, you could sell it off…hint hint if the disc isn't scratched which is causing the problems (pics will prove it) then people (IE me) would be interested in getting it off you.

    • Interesting. I rang up the guy at DSE and he said bring it in and they should be able to sort something out. Whatever that means i will find out later on. If i don't have any luck i'll let you know because i then would be looking at selling it.

  • zero problems with my copy on PC!

  • Just an update i was able to get a full refund from DSE. I'm happy to be honest i didn't really like the new black ops 2 anyways - especially the zombies maps which is the only reason i play.
