UberEats has upscaled their new user promotion once again as indicated here. It has now gone back to where it used to be around a years ago, which was $20 for both the referee & referrer.

This one appears to be a promotion which is time limited until 30/09/2024 and may be targeted to specific users. This means it may take a few attempts through the referral links to find one that that reflects this deal.

Conditions
This offer is a limited time promotion for an additional $20 Uber Cash reward for each completed referral to UberEats App. Promotion expires 23:55 AEST/NZST on 30/09/2024. Upon use, the invited person will receive $20 Uber Cash to be used on their first order in the Uber Eats app. When they complete their first order, the inviter will receive $20 Uber Cash. Limited to a maximum of 5 redemptions per inviter. Limited to intended recipients. Subject to stock availability, operating hours and availability of participating merchants in your area via the Uber Eats app.

    Can anyone confirm that this means all they have to do is download the Uber Eats app for the first time, sign up for the first time, and then enter the promo code in the app?

    Also has anyone else's app not updated with the new rate? Mine shows $10 still even after receiving an email and popup notification

    It looks like they fixed it. I tried multiple referral codes on several new accounts, but none of them went through.

    Got the email with offer clearly saying $20, used the referral code from the email (it's the same as my normal referral code id get via the app anyway) & no $20

    My Uber account when I look at the refer a friend section within the app doesn't have anything relating to this $20 promotion either

      I referred one person and I got the $20 and they did too. Took about 24 hours for me to get my $20

          Uber has pretty amazing abilities to detect someone creating multi accounts - you basically need a new phone number, new credit card and not use the mobile app as apparently they check hardware IDs too. The referee should get the credit instantly, so I suspect in your case UberEats has simply detected that you are attempting to game the system. If you continue to create accounts, you will end up banned.

    Confirmed it still works, but it's getting harder. They block the phone quite quickly now, and it can't be combined with 'EATS2ORDER15' anymore.

      Are you referring to them blocking the phone if you refer yourself using a new account? Seems risky. creating a new account to redeem a first order discount was all it took to get my account flagged
