Freo WA - Some bargains to be had today at Myer, Toy World and EB Games

I thought I's try to minimise being flamed and post here.

I was in freo today to get my $16.66 scoopon microderm and did a bit of shopping as well.

Myer Freo had 50% off a reasonable size selection (for that store) of dresses that had been marked down and there was an extra 50% off. The resulting prices were about 67% - 80% off original. A lot of those dresses were in sizes 12 and 14. They also has some tops 50% off the marked down price. I bought a Basque dress for $20 and a top for the same amount.

Upstairs they had 30% off some marked down elecronics. And an extra 75% off some already reduced homewares. There was 50% off reduced kids clothing as well.

These discounts may or may not be available elsewhere.

I went to EB Games and was able to get my Nexus 7 tablet 32gb for $265, thanks to two OzBers who posted copies of their invoices. That was the only one they had in stock and it arrived in the shop as a delivery the same time I did.

Toy World had some amazing prices on toys. My daughter has lots of Zhu Zhu items that she doesn't really play with that often, but I could not pass up a $20 Zhu Zhu bundle that they said was worth $120. I believe it too. It had one puppy, a puppy chariot, bedding, the ice cream parlour and the pizza parlour. And maybe some other stuff. I am leaving in holiday soon and want to lay out the santa gifts. So much stuff has been ordered but not yet arrived. I wanted some larger stuff available to have around for that wow factor when we get back in the house in mid jan. We'll check the post the next day and I imagine it will fill the boot, but this'll probably be the last year she believes, so I didn't want it to be an instant disappointment. I fully anticipate ordering heaps of stuff online while I am on holiday anyway. They appear to be clearing out a line of small figures called Beanz or Beans which I know she will love so I bought some of those, along with what I actually went there for - Trash Can Creatures or something similar. She wanted the Street Sweeper which goes around and sucks up her trash characters. They had that, whereas Myer and Target did not. Sometimes the best value of all is just getting what you need, even at full price. Toy World Freo had two more Zhu Zhu bundles and heaps of other things for shockingly low prices.

So if you are in the Freo area anyway and want some clothes, you might consider going to Myer. If you need toys, Toy World seemed to have some bargains. There is a reasonable chance you would be able to pick up some suitable toys for a low price.
