Kayo Streaming Issues quality

Anyone use Kayo and have issues? My quality starts off with HD then slowly goes blurry, my internet speed is find and cleared cache and all that.

    • What is your internet speed?
    • Have you actually done a speed test to indicate that it is good?
    • Have you tried other devices?
    • What sort of TV are you using?

      Yes i got 250mbps and im using google chrome on my laptop to watch on kayo. I didnt have issues until today. cleared cache and all

        Have you tried another device and does it happen on that device as well?

    I used to use it through the kodi addon. You could set it to the resolution you wanted. Much better experience for me than using through the app. Can get a tv guide on there too.

      There's a kodi addon called the loop where you can do the same but for free. it has a tv guide on there too that isn't too hard to figure out.

          You need to install simple iptv client too it's in the kodi repository.

      It was a fantastic way to watch, especially because the Kayo app on my Fire tv 4k seems to crash after 10min.

    Yes and yes. Sometimes it's crap, and will be crap for an entire broadcast. Other days its fine.

    They also lied about 4K coverage for AFL Season 2024 but good luck getting a response from them on that.

      4K is only for the games not televised by channel 7

        Kayo did not advertise in those words prior to the season commencing. They have subsequent to cover their ass.

          Yes they did. When it was originally announced, they said it was only for games from Foxtel.

            "All AFL, NRL, Cricket and Netball games streamed on Kayo will be offered in 4K as the service begins its rollout from February 29, 2024. "

            They then changed their advertising in February (when they jacked up their prices)
            and added shitty ass disclaimer half hidden with *selected content only.

            It was not formally clarified until an AFL (Not Kayo) email on 4 March after backlash. Huge amount of peeps were pissed after signing up to digital AFL club subscriptions.

            They've nuked all their old pages and adverts to hide from the blatant false advertising.

    Same issues with the Saturday/Sunday 4k footage on Nvidia shield. Find I have to clear data/cache on the app and comes good then reoccurs hours later. NBN 250/20 and speed good.

      they need to fix it asap. Cancelled 4k I thought it was for all games but only slected
