For AGL App Users with Solar PV Relying on "Solar Status"

Just a heads up for solar PV owners that are with AGL and use the AGL App to monitor their basic solar status (working/not working).

The "Solar Status" section on the "Overview" page is somewhat useless.

My solar PV has been physically disconnected for 6 weeks due to renovations requiring relocation of the sub-board. During that period the App continued to show that "It looks like your solar system is active".

OTOH, the company I bought the system off sent me an email after ~3 weeks advising me that their monitoring was no longer detecting the inverter. I had no idea they were providing this service.

I'd be interested to know what parameters need to be met so that the App says "you have an issue".

        none really, the inverter app if I need to update something

    i have been taking 'weekly' readings since install, I say 'weekly' because sometimes I forget
