Yep, first world problem, but did anybody notice that Woolworths quietly deleted its home brand of Licorice Allsorts! Yikes, this only leaves a choice of its competitor’s brand, Darrell Lee (DL). However, when you work out the cost on a unit price basis, they are about 300% more expensive! The packets of DL are about double the price but have significantly less net contents by weight!! And to top it all off the quality, taste appearance appear identical.

The packets of DL are about double the price
They're often on sale for half price…
yep, got 20 bags @ $2.25 recently
.Yep, I regret not doing the same when I could!!
Who here eats Licorice? Genuine question.
Me. Occasionally. And the licorice I buy is Woolworths own brand. So its disappointing if they have discontinued it.
Me too!
Godspeed
Albo's Allsorts
these were nice. and the home brand liquorice twists too, I ended up just getting the twists to avoid the sugar in the allsorts
Not a real fan of the home brand, bought a packet recently and it seemed to be more than half full of liquorice twists. Still they were a good alternative when the Darrell Lea product wasn't on sale.
The DL ones are pure sugar bugger all liquorice taste at all
Why?
