Recommendations to Build/Buy a PC Able to Run Minecraft Smoothly with Shaders. Budget ~ $1800

Hi OzB. I am looking to build a PC able to run Minecraft with shaders at 1440p. Ideally looking to spend under $1700 but flexible.

@ThithLord: Not hard to figure out OP was trying to ask a question. Pretty basic comprehension.

  • If you dont want to build one yourself just check out your local PC shops that have pre built ones.

Something like the below would have you covered I think, been a while since I have been in the market sorry.

Critical thinking is tough for some people. No surprises it's the usual people.

To answer OP's question about building or recommending a PC for gaming for modded Minecraft the important part is the GPU. Specifically an Nvidia GPU. The Iso - RTX 4070 Super OC for $1558 from Nebula is a good buy. An RTX 4070 Super with 12GB VRAM will be enough for Minecraft with shaders with 16GB DDR5 RAM (sufficient) and the 6 core/12 thread CPU.

a smooth 1440p machine for 1700 is definitely doable since i just parted a system build and it came to 1662.

prebuilts will definitely save you money, so that 1558 iso deal is pretty good if you dont mind prebuilts.

  • Doesn't look like there's many helpful comments here mate.

You could try asking on reddit - this sub is pretty helpful and will put something together for you

most of them there are US though so once you've got a parts list visit https://au.pcpartpicker.com/ and populate that for the best aussie pricing. If you don't want to build it yourself then pay attention to the CPU and GPU suggestions, and keep an eye on one of the pre-builts that pop up on ozb with those components.
