Its funny we get that joke nearly every time we list a shed somewhere :)

      • +7

Who’s joking? The state of housing and cost of living is getting worse everyday…

        • I know some parents have put their teens in these, they would be dry and sheltered. Not sure what the councils would think but yes with the cost of living finding a room for everyone is very hard these days.

      • Sorry didn't mean to advertise too cheap.. $600 pw

        • Can you at least chuck in a camp stove and some cinder blocks swiped from a nearby construction site? Understandably the 4.5kg gas tank will need to be BYO.

free delivery covers 98% of the country, only remote areas excluded

That's highly misleading. That implies remote areas are only 2% of the country and not covered?

    • +2

Yes, we do that to be as inclusive as we can :)

      • people will whinge about anything on here

    • Literallly 2% of the population lives in remote areas.

      • -1

Yep I get it, but the wording was misleading. I don't have an issue but they should be more accurate to say they will ship to 98% of the population and not 98% of the country.

These are good sheds. Built well and sturdy. I've had mine for 4 years in the Aussie sun and rain and they are still standing strong.

Unfortunately, the pricing is crazy. I paid $1.2k from Costco 4 years ago.

    • Same brand though? FWIW I think I saw a similar sized one at Costco Gold Coast on display a few weeks ago - but for closer to 2.5. Didn’t really take a good look as that’s way out of budget for me for a secondary shed. (Already got a shed but need more space)

      • The Keter Newton 7511 has never been at Costco for $1200 in Australia Im afraid, we do have much smaller Keter sheds around that price though.
The Newton is their premium range.

  • I love keter products but their pricing is pretty crazy now. I bet that shed doesn't even cost more than a couple hundred in materials.

  • Hi, Any deals on the Keter Artisan sheds? These used to be $1600-1700 at Bunnings just a few months ago… Was planning on ordering but was thinking of the base/foundation. Can you have these bolted onto pavers or must it be concrete slab only?

  • Lifetime 2.1 x 2.1 was less than $1,200 few months ago at Bunnings on the Gold Coast. Nonetheless this is bigger, might need a permit as the height exceeded 2.4m?
