Bad value compared to Edition XS or Ananda but I believe this is ATL.

  Likely that hifiman is phasing these out for the Arya organics. They're still pretty good headphones if you like the sound signature. They normally sat around $1800 here until this deal. If you're concerned about warranty and hifiman QC (they're notoriously bad) Addicted to Audio has them for $1069.

  fml just got mine like 2 month ago from official store for like 1200$.
  upgraded from sundara, the comfort is night and day……

      Honestly i didnt use my sundara much due to the comfort. but from memory the first time i put arya on, the bass is much nicer, deeper. mids probably similar to my ear, the highs are also more airy on the arya.

      Definitely not 2 times better like the OP said, not great if we comparing value. but for now sub 1k AUD, just comfort alone, i love it, some one with more exprience please share more information about sub 1k AUD headphones.personally i have no complain about the sound. i dont have many high end over ear headphone to compare to so that thats for me.
