Best Tonkotsu Ramen in Victoria, with Kakuni

When I was in Japan this year, I've managed to eat lots of ramen, and one type was outstanding. Ate one in Shibuya and the other in Shinjuku, their names just escape my mind (except that both mentioned pork broth), should have taken photos of the dish/menu but didn't want to offend…(or outside the eatery).

Anyhow, I found out later that they are 'Tonkotsu Ramen', but the ones here in Melbourne don't have 'kakuni' in it.

Would anyone be able to tell where I can find the Best Tonkotsu Ramen with 'kakuni' in Melbourne?

Much appreciate any mention (its winter here now and I need to have it soon otherwise I have to book another trip over there!)

    How about this one:
    https://ramenmelbourne.com.au/

    Shizuku Ramen
309 Victoria St, Abbotsford VIC 3067

They have pork belly in the menu:
    Kakuni Ramen
    Kuro Mayu Tonkotsu Ramen
    Aka Mayu Tonkotsu Ramen
    Tonkotsu Shio Ramen
    Yuzu Shoyu Ramen
    Black Truffle Shoyu Ramen
    Shoyu Butter Corn Ramen

Kakuni (braised pork belly) is different than chashu.

    • Happy Days! First time ever that word I've seen printed on a menu. Much appreciated.

      • I haven't tried ramen with pork belly because most ramen restaurants use chashu for pork based ramen. Maybe next time when I go to Melbourne again.

    • Just looked at the reviews and it seems the restaurant is closed

I checked the latest reviews through google maps. Looks like not good via Uber Eats delivery, should try dine-in …

I don't think ramen is good via delivery. The best is dine-in for ramen.
