Be aware that in my recent experience (with TC) tracking is still spotty.

    • Extremely spotty. It's the only website I've ever had issues with. Meanwhile AliExpress at TCB tracks minutes after ordering.

      • Cashrewards too. And I even got the cashback barely 2 weeks in/10 or so days after the item got delivered, even if it said the ETA was 3 months. Happened twice already and same experience, their deliveries got way faster too.

        • There is no way you could be getting cashback approved within the returns period with AliExpress. You must be confusing it with tracked otherwise everyone would be buying and returning items and picking free money.

          • @Lucille Bluth: He's not wrong. Cashback is approved a short time after your order is confirmed as delivered. The difference is if you have a change of mind you have to pay the return postage to China. The wash and repeat trick won't work with Ali.

@Lucille Bluth: No. I'm not that dumb, I know what is tracked and what is approved. I don't know the answer to your supposed loophole but I can provide proof if you want. I was even surprised that I got the approved cashback quickly. Perhaps it depends per account, maybe they have an algorithm going on, just a hunch but all I know is i'm happy to get the Cashback quickly.

            • @Haunt: Ah I stand corrected in that case. That is certainly pretty good! Unheard of almost for any other cashback partner.

              • @Lucille Bluth: Especially for AliExpress. I would not be very surprised if it was from some local retailer but out of all places it was AliExpress, so I get the suspicion, it's really just surprising it works like this now.

Temu last 50% offer via cashrewards didn't work.
Temu support says no affiliate related to that order, and I have proof with screenshots and all links.

      just return the items

  • Any amounts paid using store credit redemption

    combined with unreliable tracking, lol.

    • If you use a Gift Card, Voucher, Promo or store credit to pay for purchase, the value of the Voucher or Promo will not qualify for Cashback. The balance you pay will still be eligible. If the balance is $0, you'll not earn Cashback on the purchase.

The full sentence, which is actually good. I do agree with the bad tracking though.

Edit: Sorry, I just realised you quoted from the first part of the description.

      • yeah, but so much of my (potential) temu purchases are credits…

  • Still having issues with the tracked amount actually paying out. Have sent emails and lodged tickets. The online chat just says "escalated" but it's a bot so who knows.

  • I purchased something from Temu a year ago for just over $2 with no issue. I tried to buy the same item again last month and they refused to allow my order because it was under $40. Apparently, there is a $40 minimum just to Checkout!!
I have never come across another online store that has a minimum spend before you can purchase. Instead of adding more to cart I shopped elsewhere.
This has turned me off Temu.
Does this happen to everyone else?

    • +1

Yes, my Temu account also have a $40 spend requirement before can actually checkout. If you google 'Temu mininum checkout' you will find a number of Reddit posts with plenty of people complaing about this.

A reminder that this company and its parent seems to be among the worst of the worst for data security. Having had a previous commerce app banned globally.

Even if you dont care about your data or want to be one of those bleating "its just a different government spying on you" defeatists, their last app
used 0-day exploits to change permission settings, uninstall competitors apps, and more.

And thats before we get into the large number of reports of fradulent transactions on cards used in the store, adware and bitcoin miners being installed on devices, and the list goes on.

None of which are my words, or my opinion. Just passing on whats been reported. Again. And again.

  • My most recent Temu tracking via Shopback is showing as Calculating which is worrying as I have no idea what amount it is being tracked at or if it even tracked properly.

Friends don't let friends shop at Temu

    • Your friends arent billionaires.

      • Buying from Temu isn't like going to the Reject Shop or something similar, Temu is a predatory business selling cheap garbage and gamefying the whole experience to make you addicted to buying useless crap. It's a bad business that has poor user retention for a reason. It's just the new Wish, and shouldn't be supported

        • You can't shop like a billionaire at the Reject Shop.

  • Are they currently the highest cash back for temu existing customers?

  • Didn't receive my last few Temu cashbacks

  • Top Cashback tracked for me a few days back when they had 30% for existing customers

  • … the other day my temu min order was 15.. now it is 40 dollars???

    • Was the $15 min spend your first order?

      • Yeah so after that is it always 40?

  • Thanks op. Tracked successfully as a new user.

    • Hi @particle - How long did it take following your checkout at TEMU for you to receive tracking confirmation?

      • The tracking email came through 2 days after ordering.

  • Has anyone claimed a price adjustment on Temu, either as refund or credit, after cashback has tracked?

Wondering if it voids the cashback, amount gets adjusted, no change at all…

Haven't been able to get a definitive answer.
