Budget Accommodation in Adelaide for a Week or Two

I am looking for recommendations for budget Accommodation in Adelaide. Must be able to cook my own meals.

Are there any caravan parks with cabins that have a good rate? Otherwise apartment or Airbnb.

Anywhere within an hour of the CBD is fine as long as there is good public transport. Looking for a balance of good rates, functionality and practicality. I will be visiting the suburb of Holden Hill.

Holden Hill cop shop do free accommodation, but conditions apply 😉

    • You'll also get a free blue light taxi service to the accommodation.

    • Return guest ?¿

      • Yes, they have many returning guests…

      • You'll soon learn the trick to getting in with the cuffs on.

  • Hi,
https://bookings.echoholidayparks.com.au/list?type=1&park=Wi… has 1BR w/Cooking (Cooktop & Microwave) at Windsor Gardens.

  • Tea Tree Plaza area is close to HH and convenient because it’s a major interchange for the O-Bahn (a weird bus/train system) which will get you to and from the CBD. From memory it’s about 12-15km from the CBD and maybe 2-3km to Holden Hill

Holden Hill is easy to get to via public transport (500 buses will stop at Gilles Plains shops and you just walk back).

Honestly, you don't want to actually stay out that way. There's nothing to see or do. It's the suburbs.

If you do want to be 'close' and on a direct bus route, try the Walkers - https://walkersarms.com.au/#welcome

The bus up NE Rd is the 271.

I'm only working on the idea of the HH cop shop - HH is a big suburb - if you're visiting in the back part (say, Lyons Road or Jacobsen Cres), it's a different story.
