Trouver Power 11 (Aka Xiaomi Dreame Mijia) Stick Vacuum Motorised Head Won't Spin

Unlike many people here, until now my Trouver Power 11 vacuum has been working perfectly, into at least it's 3rd year. I've just run into an issue where when starting the vacuum the roller begins to move then stalls and I get an E1 error. I can't find the manual, but I expect this is a jammed roller error. As usual I removed and cleaned the roller and put it back but it did the same thing.

What I'm hoping for, with all the people who bought these, is that either someone can tell me how to disassemble the head unit so I can work out what's wrong with it, and secondly with all the people that had battery and motor problems maybe there's someone who wants to offload their head unit?

I can't find much material on this vacuum or any of the Dreame/Xiaomi Units that have identical heads, at least not that go into the disassembly of the heads. I've taken out the 8 screws I can see holding it together, but it's still stuck together pretty fast and I don't want to push it too hard and break it.

Any help is much appreciated

  • Write it off and get another one from elsewhere. There's plenty of good budget ones around if you don't want to spend Dyson dollars.

    (Aka Xiaomi Dreame Mijia)

Not made by Dreame or Xiaomi. I'm sorry to say Gshipper conned everyone into thinking it was when it wasn't. That's why finding compatible parts from a Xiaomi is difficult.

Also turns out the battery issue was with the control board and not the cells. No wonder Trouver disappeared as quickly as it came.

    • Really? We're they selling a counterfeit product? It's got dreame on all its labels and model numbers seem to match some on aliexpress for spare parts. It's about 40 bucks for a replacement head, what's a new one go for?

      • +1

It was more of a short lived spin off brand of Dreame. Keep an eye on this tag and you'll be able to find cheap ones.

        • For me I guess it's more about not creating unwanted additional ewaste if I can avoid it as well as saving a buck. If it was $150+ for a new one and I could get this one going for 40 or less I would definitely be inclined. What's a current deal on a decent one?

Thanks for the link, the lulublu one at around a hundred should do the trick for me, mainly use it in addition to a robot vac
