I’m so glad I visit OzNetflixNotifications.

  • -7

So what’s the code to get the movie/sub ? .

  • +28

I think I'm switching sides to joining team Full price subscriptions are not bargains

      • Thanks for the tip! It would be even better if there was an app on LG webos that could access that content.

  • +3

how much is the regular price?

  • +4

    Great movie

  • +4

Price in title? What's the saving?

    • +4

It’s literally in the healthiest place it’s been in decades.

    • +1

Tell me you haven't seen any Japanese Godzilla movies without telling me

  • +2

I'm not sure why movie releases like your post is on ozbargain 😂 I would only recommend you post things if it's actually free and people don't need to pay a subscription or get a massive discount etc. This is just an announcement, might as well just put in the forums

    • That’s up to the mods really. I personally only share streaming items that I find worthwhile or personally excited about. People can upvote and downvote as they wish.

  • What’s Netflix? Where is the price to watch Godziller?

  • +18

Why can’t people just ignore one post if they feel so strongly about seeing movies from subscription services on ozbargain. Takes so much effort to click into post and comment. I just don’t get it

    • +8

Those people complaining don't have the skill to follow the instructions to literally get rid of the thing they're complaining about

    • -4

Because such posts should be limited to blockbusters only, with the rest straight to the forum. Maybe we want to hear of the occasional addition to streaming services, without highly opinionated choices like Godzilla. If that "hide additions to streaming services" option had a threshold where enough positive votes unhides it, that might work

      @Neil

    • The idea is to reduce spam, not your average user (mind you, not everyone has an ozbargain account) is going to have these filtered settings. Stuff like this just gives people incentive to post every movie and series release on streaming platforms.

I'm surprised to find that Rings of Power Season 2 was met with a better upvote/downvote ratio than this, but I'd find more annoying as continuation of series is more of a given rather than a movie release.

      • Why don't you just filter the settings - if can comment then surely you're able to filter

        • +1

As mentioned above, I'm keeping in mind the users who are not a members of ozbargain. I personally don't bother with filters, I just scroll past them. As mentioned by others, there is no "bargain" to be had here, it is part of a subscription service where movies and series get added on a daily basis.

          • -2

            @mustaful:

            I just scroll past them

            Except when you don't?

            • @DiscountForThee: Arguments as above. It's not about me, it's about the purpose of the site for the average ozbargain user.

              • -1

@mustaful: Every single person should be able to scroll past posts that they aren't interested in. Or are you saying the "average" user clicks on every post? I have no interest in PC games so i scroll past the steam/epic store/GOG posts. its not that hard…

              • -2

@mustaful: Then refer to the above:

Those people complaining don't have the skill to follow the instructions to literally get rid of the thing they're complaining about

    • Maybe because they care about the OzB website and want to ensure its integrity and continued value? Maybe they don’t to see the utility and quality of OzV diminished by people desperate for attention and likes who filling the website with spam every time a new show/movie is added to a a streaming service? Maybe they don’t like seeing it because this is a place for deals and these aren’t deals, just ads? Maybe they just don’t like ads in general? Maybe they don’t like see the hypocrisy of the strict formatting and requirements and culture around other deals not being applied to these ads?

Personally I don’t understand what you “don’t get” about someone commenting on something they “feel strongly” about, rather than ignoring it. That seems like expected and obvious behaviour to me, people are of course going to be more inclined to comment on things they like/dislike, and ignore those they are apathetic towards.

A comment section exists for people to share their views. Telling them to just change their filter settings misses the point entirely.

Loved the movie but this isn’t a deal by any means.

    • +1

I watched this last night and was very underwhelmed. What do people like about this movie? I thought the one where he rampages through New York was better. I guess this one has a vintage vibe.

      • +1

Which one? The Jurassic park ripoff from 98 that is largely not a Godzilla movie? Or the 2014 reboot from legendary?

      • Watching the coloured version on my OLED was a pleasure. This isn’t a typical Godzilla movie as you barely see the Godzilla but I found the plot interesting and the visuals were good.

        • How is that not a typical Godzilla movie?

Having seen this, Shin and most of the Showa era films, this is very much par for course. Tell a human story (even if it's not great) to build suspense and then reveal the big guy periodically until the final showdown.

  • My kid has recently gone down the Kong/Godzilla movie route, and they’re so stupid but they are entertaining. The Apple TV series is actually really good, too

  • +10

As an experiment, why doesn’t someone post every new release across all platforms without any rationale.

    • Go for it

      • I thought this too… where is the line?

  • +4

THIS ISNT A DEAL WHY ARE YOU WASTING MY TIME AND RVERYONES ELSES he furiously typed, wasting his own time and everyone else’s.

    • -2

Don't open the post and skip to see next posts then. I don't mind for good movies especially live action movies made in Japan :)

Next time please remind me to watch new Dragon Ball live action movie :P

  • +8

So a movie gets added to netflix… Why is this on ozbargain?

  • +4

Just don't see the purpose of these posts. No one comes here to find out what's releasing on streaming platforms. I know I can block these posts… the point is I shouldn't need to.

    • -1

Just don't see the purpose of commenting on these posts. No one comes here to find out who's commenting about streaming platforms. Everyone knows they can block these posts… the point is I can and should.

    • +1

Bro I understand your sentiment. But you have been in OzB since 2015 without making any post. At least contribute something too

      • beggars can't be choosers

      • So any post is worthy by your measure, no matter how 💩 it is, because there aren't enough junk posts on ozbargain to fill our email inbox.

    • +1

I'm just going to leave this here, where you upvoted a bargain about games on Xbox Game Pass with a reminder that different people like different things.

Unless you think subscription game services are massively different to subscription movie services somehow.

  • +1

I would love if everyone could stop filling the comments with complaints or arguments about it not being a deal so I could actually read comments on the movie.

I scroll past completely useless (to me) bargains on the front page all the time. No biggie. Sometimes I click on stuff just to know what the hell it is before deciding I don't need it.

When I'm really after something specific I will use the search function. Otherwise half the fun is just scrolling through. Just my 2 cents.

    • This isn’t Rotten Tomatoes? You come here for movie reviews?

  • I think this post is silly because yes the movie getting released on Netflix in color was a good post as it was worthy of a watch..but now the B&W version…sheesh…what about director's cut, netflix cut and so on

  • +1

Where is the option to watch this free movie, without signing up to a paid Netflix subscription?

  • +2

It's been streaming for a few days now. No deal or even anything new here.

  • +1

This is exactly what you are paying subscription for. Post like these are free marketing, not a deal.
OzB is not a notification service. Imagine every streamer come here to post their latest inclusion of movie, tv drama, doco, etc.
