tomtoc
Can’t beat ozbargain’s favourite eshay bag
I have a tomtoc compact and it slides around a fair bit. I think the big plus for this one is the strap on this. I'm looking for an upgrade at the moment and I think there's better quality for less than both.
How is the strap design on this one less likely to slide around? I've been tempted by the tomtoc but hate slings that slide around involuntarily, esp when you bend over
This one has a big mesh part over the shoulder strap.
Not having one means you can easily swap around which shoulder its on, but my bag always ends up on my hip and not my back/chest.
Because this one has a mesh shoulder that doesn't reattach/adjust, the zipper will face down if you wear it over your right shoulder.
what you looking at ? I just bought this, haven't received it yet
I ended up moving to a shoulder sling bag. Costs the same as this one but holds infinitely more, and fits my large frame a bit better than the bum bag size.
Body bag, just in time for Saturday date night.
Looks nice. Never heard of them though. Maybe need to look them up.
Been around for a long time
Yeah, Chrome makes some top quality gear, been around for ages. But shipping from their own site costs an arm and a leg - or it did last time I looked.
what fits in it?
Is it really a Chrome bag without the seatbelt buckle?
Chrome seatbelt buckle is a must!
I got it in 2 different sizes, the buckle is metal and noisy FYI
I'm not a ninja, the noise doesn't bother me.
Normally $180
How is this true? Camels shows highest ever was $115.97
Honest question. Why do people go for these over standard backpacks?
Smaller than a regular backpack so less bulky to carry around the city if you don't need more than around 4 litres. Maybe you want to carry a steam deck / switch / iPad, portable charger, hand sanitiser, snacks, "medication" etc. but don't have enough space in your pockets and don't want to wear a dual strap backpack all day.
Basically, it's a man purse / handbag.
I've been after body bags for this reason that I have.
is it better than tomtoc? It looks uncomfortable
