Red Bull Racing RB18 #1 1:43 Model $18 (Was $136) + $13.95 Delivery & $0.99 Fee @ F1 Store

1800

Look I don’t know who in the world plays $136… but these are very good quality, much more detailed than the Bburago.

That’s all, goodbai.

    • Damn I should have added that to my order. The full price on the Perez car isn’t the same RRP though… assuming it might be a different build quality? Or maybe just a max tax!

      • +2

        Its 1:64 - not great

    • +12

It’s cheaper because it may unexpectedly crash and is not as fast as the other RBR car

    • +3

The 1:18 Spark models are a great deal for $133, same with the Ferrari 1:18 at $175 and $200 - these are Looksmart and are even better.

    • The $200 Ferrari was labelled as Spark in the description, although probably a mistake and no mention of brand on the $175. Are all the Ferrari ones Looksmart? Their prices are quite a bit higher compared to the Spark Red Bull ones, better brand than Spark or just contract stuff?

Never thought about these models but they look cool.

      • +1

Yeah, Looksmart is owned by Spark I believe, but its the brand they produce Ferrari under. BBR is the competitor. Looksmart models are typically slightly higher quality than a Spark

        • Got me too interested and watched some youtube videos. Seems like it was a partnership with Spark and Looksmart because of the Ferrari licensing? Something about how Looksmart normally has more accurate steering wheel but this time was still Spark generic steering wheel on the F1-75? Yeah and BBR partners with Minichamps?

You tempted me too much, I couldn't help but get the Leclerc Bahrain GP winner. Wish they still had the Italian gp in 1/18 for sale and discounted as I like that livery much more!

  • Which ones work in my kids Hot wheels sets?

    • +1

The 1:64 scale is the same as hotwheels

    • You'd want something 1/64 scale. The one linked is too big.

      • -1

        You want 1:18 you mean!

    • +1

Not this one, the title is a marketing hype, if you want this, total cost is $32.94. Very expensive hot wheels.

  • 1:43 scale how long is that

    • +1

      10cm

    • +7

1:43 is way too small. 1:18 size is great to display as it is 34cm length.

  • +9

    Somehow I spent $300 lol

    • +5

Wish there was more mclaren on sale

      • +1

        Go oscar

      • +1

The Oscar 1:43 is $20 standard price on f1store. Has the cool '23 Silverstone chrome livery

        • I think the much lower standard prices are for a different brand Bburago? And the expensive 1/43 are Sparks or Looksmart for Ferrari?

          • @JL1: All looks like burago as far as I could tell. You are proba right tho

    • Once you go the bigger scales it adds up! What did you get? The full prices are crazy, wish I was rich enough to pay those prices!

      • +1

Got some of the 1/24 to gift to people and their kids.

    • +1

Yeah, this “$18” deal was a massive trap.

      • Happy and unhappy I saw this deal posted!

    • I feel you, bought too much random items like caps and small models then paid for express shipping as I didn't know smaller orders could get standard shipping, should have split the order up.

And tempting seeing the discount from rrp, not sure where everyone goes to buy models normally. Any sites with good prices?

  • -7

Hmmmm, try again without a link. Temu has the same with free shipping, if you missed out.

    Search Red Bull Formula One

I bought a couple a month ago & they look great. 1:24 however, slightly smaller

  • +2
    • Thanks. I bought a heap of the $7 and $9 ones!

  • +4

    I'd scratch the "1" off, & paint a "3" on the car :P

  • lol, prices on these have tanked even more than Tesla.

  • +2

    $0.99 Fee

    for what?

    • +1

This is a handling fee, I added it into the shipping.

    • +4

      for what?

For crossing the line on pit entry.

    • +2

      99 cent penalty for Ocon

  • Annoying that they don't list the brand…

    • Its a Spark. Definitely a bargain

      • Yep I bought this last deal, definitely a spark. Dont think the Perez one is tho

        • +9

Perez lost his spark a long time ago

        • They use a cheaper brand for Perez compared to Max but price them the same?

  • is it just me or all the lnks coming up as ACCESS DENIED?

  • +1

    $136 for a 10cm model lol

    • 34cm. That's the 1/18 scale mate, not the 1:43.

      • I think they mean $136 original full price for the 1/43 model, as opposed to it being discounted now.

  • +6

1:18 Max Verstappen Japan GP World Champion for $114 is the one to get!!

    • +1
      • Yeah, everything seems to match up but the F1 site doesn't mention the sparks model number so I can't quite fully confirm.

    • Thanks for your find I've ordered one

    • Awesome model and championship! Would have been great as a gift to F1 fans! Hope it does come with the extras as well!

  • All going downhill for red bull… So much so that they're merch is now being discounted too 😂

  • +4

What is this? A car for ants? It's got to be at least 3 times bigger than this…

  • +2

Loads of 1:43 models have RRP of $20.

Is this one meant to be better quality? There's nothing about the manufacturer.

    • +2

      https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=lj-wJKkzdVI

Spark vs. bburago, annoying they don’t include the brand. Price is essentially the confirmation though.

      • Thanks.

1:18 Sparks for me, 1:43 bburago for the toddler.

If anyones looking on a budget the 1:24 bbuargo looks like a good compromise. More detail than the 1:43 plus a display case for just $28.

  • $15 shipping kills the deal.

    • +8

Decided not to buy any and save myself $30, the real bargain.

  • -8

Guaranteed 90% of the people that saw this post and bought the car thinking it’s some good deal have no idea who the driver is.

    • +12

Are you gatekeeping toy cars? lol

      • +2

        He's Max Verstoppen your enjoyment

    • +1

I don't trust anyone who didn't watch Jabouille vs Villenuve at Kyalami in '79 live.

  • +2

Why are all the clothing polyester? Yuck.

    Need more cotton merch.

  • 3 cars for $60 delivered, got one each for the kids as well, nice deal, well spotted, thanks for the share

    • +1

      Welcome!

  • Ended up getting a 2 small rb models and 3 rb team polos for under $100 (me, wife and kiddo) delivered wowzers. Sizes are a bit limitited but not complaining for that sort of deal

  • How's the quality of the merch, t shirts specifically

  • +2

They're building an F1 car for ants!?! :o

    • +1

Well this way there might be some overtaking on the Monaco circuit!

  • +4

Thanks for posting this deal. I found the Oscar Piastri 1:43 model and, even though its $81 instead of $18, I bought it instead and for several reasons:
    1. I'm a fan of McLaren and Oscar.
    2. The model is of his car from last years Australian GP.
    3. It's where he scored his first points in F1.
    4. I was at that Grand Prix. (my first one!)

Also, the 1:43 scale matches my only other scale model car and TBH I prefer it to the larger scales. Takes up less space.

    • Great model and great driver! I like him more than Lando already. Hopefully world champion one day if he gets a good car! Seems like the McLaren models didn't get much discounted at all compared to many of the others.

Great model to remind you of your memories at the Grand Prix!

  • Is the site down? It was up last night.

    • ordered fine about an hour ago

      • Its been giving me Access Denied since the morning

  • noice! xmas presents sorted

  • +1

    Legend, grabbed a couple.

    • Awesome

  • +1

Eh thought about buying but 1:43 is tiny (10cm) and the 1:18 is over $100

    • +1

I ended up buying them both

  • $26 for 1:24 Oracle Red Bull Racing RB18 Abu Dhabi Max Verstappen 2022 World Championship Car - Great Price!

    Bought two, thanks OP

    • +1

If only they had the white japanese livery would buy in an instant.

      • When I was looking last night I think they had the Japanese livery but probably not in 1:24

        • I think it was the championship winner but don't think they had the special white livery for the model? Unless sold out already.

          • @JL1: AH yeah thats right. Wasnt the white one but the winner one.

            • @Piranha2004: I think the white arigato livery was for the Turkish GP as homage to old Honda F1 livery? Looks very cool

              • @JL1: It was meant for Japan but they couldn't get in with COVID restriction so Japan was cancelled and its used for Turkish GP. Honda was leaving F1 so it was their homage to company.

                • @Sheng: Ah yep when Japanese GP got cancelled. Yeah homage to Honda with it looking like the RA272, what a cool livery when Red Bull cars have looked so similar for so long.

Too bad it's hard to find that white livery for sale anywhere at a decent price.

  • Thanks OP I ended up buying the bigger version of this that was posted in the comments and I brought one of these as well so I've got the big one and the little one

    I don't watch F1 but I'm a fan of Max and Redbull

  • Thanks OP.
From where can one buy a wall poster? I will then stick cars on the wall on each side of it.

  • +1

stupid question, do the tyres spin on the models?

    • +2

They’re fixed because its a resin model. Typically diecast will spin

  • What brand are these? Burago?

  • Sale seems largely over?

    • +1

Finished. I ended up caving and making an order last night

  • Shipped

  • What rabbit hole did I get myself into. Thought they always looked nice but didn't know how expensive they were.

Just wish the F1 store stocked older classic models like McLaren MP4/4, older Williams and Ferrari. Seems they only sell very recent models and no brands like minichamps?

  • +1

Mine just arrived, it's a sparks. Very happy with it for the price.

  • Received mine today though it was sent via FedEx once it hit Australia it was passed onto Aramex aka FASTWAY…
Literally the worst logistics company in existence.
I'm 33 and I have received thousands of packages and I have never received packaging in this shape. The only thing holding the box shut was the Australian shipping label
The box is crushed in every possible spot with multiple large holes… Package was left on my front doorstep and I was home there's no way they knocked I would have denied the package and told them to return to sender. I'll be requesting a return refund this was my first time purchasing models and my excitement has been turned into a dread.

Probably wouldn't have cared if I only brought the little one in this listing but I bought the bigger Sparks model and there's no way I'm even opening the packaging of the actual products after looking at the shipping packaging. external packaging on the products I brought is damaged inside shipping packaging too

    • I had a bigger order and it was express shipping with dhl and delivered by dhl. Maybe dhl only with express? Had fragile sticker on it but inside only paper. One had a hole in the plastic packaging but model seems okay, case might be a little scratched.

Supposedly always a risk with the shipping from them according to the f1models reddit.
