  • The link says I’m blocked

    • Possibly, you need to log on. I can't help test that (card still works but none of my current email addresses are accepted, so logon cannot proceed).

On second look: both pickup and delivery options are unavailable at my closest Dans. TAS only

  • Only tastes good in TAS too for some reason

    • Before CUB sold, I found Victorian CUB beers tasted better than the same label in NSW. They were brewed in Sydney breweries. When in Victoria now I only drink Melbourne Bitter, which is only distributed in Vic. In NSW I cannot find a reasonable substitute.

How is that relevant? Boags was Tassie owned and operated, but is now owned by Lion/Kirin. At a guess, similar to CUB, they churn it out in the nearest Lion/Kirin owned brewery to the point of distribution. At best, that means different water, but other ingredients may also be sourced differently. That's 'fill the container and label it, they won't know the difference' marketing.

  • +1

Green tins* I'm more fond of reds myself.
