Has JB cracked down on multiple accounts?

My last few online orders were blocked due to "security reasons" and I have not received any birthday vouchers for August to use in-store.

  • I have had an order blocked because i used a VPN. I just confirmed my number and email and they just let me process the order again.

    Did you reach out to JB to ask for why the online order was blocked? Could provide great insight

    • No VPN. I'd prefer not calling them since what I'm doing might be considered unethical or a breach of their policy.

        Is it just buying there services through membership

        And then somehow using their program to access the internet?

  • jb checks both your email and phone number, but if these two are both different from previous accounts it shouldn't be difficult.

        Try setting the account up with a different browser (eg Firefox/Chrome/Edge) that you don't use regularly. That way you should be clear of tracking cookies if that is what's causing the problem.

    Eh, you are thwarting the system and at end of day ruining the process for others. So I hope they are cracking down.

    This is why things get removed. Because people abusing the system. I'm happy they changed it.

    My mailbox was full for about 2 days, during this time a perks email bounced back to JB and they then removed email opt in (vouchers) from my perks account despite the system showing I was still enrolled for emails/vouchers.

    When I queried this they sent me a snarky email back about making sure emails don't bounce into the future and to better manage my mailbox. It might be worth contacting JB as I think they are trigger happy with removing clients from the voucher list. If any of their emails have ever bounced back to them, they may have an automated process in place to remove clients from the voucher mailing list (despite it still showing you are subscribed when logging in).
