Now even slightly cheaper than previous deals.

Appears to be a limited time deal, so get in quick.

Have purchased these from a previous posted deal, received stock seemed fine and wasn't affected by any yellowing issues reported by other users, YMMV. It took almost 2 months for these to be delivered to me from Amazon US, so keep that in mind.

    Perfect for raw dogging flights

I think even these would void the validity of your raw dog attempt.

    • This is not raw dogging. Here, let me get a white board, pen and drop my pants. I'll need a volunteer.

David Puddy has been doing this for years.

    These v Loops for comfort?

    • Not these…personal experience. They do work. But the hard edge on them makes them hurt my inner ear. (one ear is squiggly)

    • +2

      Loops. I have both.

I prefer the sound quality of the ER-20XS but loops (experience plus 2) are comfier and with the added rubber plugs will be quieter.

I have replaced the xmas tree style tips on my Etymotics with another brand from some random IEMs and they are comfier than standard but obviously not everyone has that luxury.

for reference, I am a musician that rehearses with a full band twice a week, plays maybe 1-2 shows a month and attend about 4 gigs a month. I wear my earplugs for about 2-3hrs at a time at any of those events.

Thanks, i shall save my pennies, i have loop experience already, so that's perfect :)

      • Link to the loops at all? (Complete muppets here)

Also confirming these are Bluetooth in ears?

        • +2

if you can type it you can find it.

they are ear plugs, not headphones.

        • +1

No: Ear Plugs to reduce sound. No electronics despite mechanical look.

      • so what's the difference between your average noise cancelling headphones and Loops, and even these?

        • noise cancelling headphones arent earplugs. 5 seconds reading the product description would help

    • Ive got both and just use the Loops. to be they seem much better fitting and better for live "LOUD" music

    These good for festivals?

  • If you go to loud events and concerts frequently, push the budget and get something more hardcore. The audio quality will be retained better and the fit will be a little more to the shape of your own ear. Recommend heading to Manny's music or any other big chain music store to try on different models and sizes to see what fits. Personally I'm big on Earasers at the moment!

    • They actually let you try them in your ears in store?

      • Yeah the store in Brisbane had a bunch of them to try on. They had some antibacterial wipes to wipe them down before putting in and taking out.

    These good for sleeping?

    • +3

      No.

      On the product page:

Not recommended for use with impulse noise, e. g. , shooting sports. Not recommended for sleeping

You can also read through the reviews. From a skim read people mention they stick out too far and don't block enough sound

    • Cheap Aliexpress: Ear Plugs to try (the different sized tips aid in comfort selection):
      https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005007188111683.html?spm=a2g…

      • Trying a pair of AliExpress 'loop' style earplugs. Comfy fit, less noise reduction than the good squishy orange foam ones though (not the rubbish Bunnings ones).

Curious to know if official Loop earplugs reduce more decibels than the AliExpress ones.
