Haven't been able to purchase limes for over a month now.
Does anyone know what's going on?
Both Coles and Woolies.

Farmers are plowing the trees over, cheaper than harvesting for current prices (that they get, not what you pay) …
You will have more luck at a farmers market where they keep the profit ;)
@Jimothy Wongingtons - any Simpsons reference about a Mr Plow that you can think of?
Something something Shelbyville.
Lime season is from September to April unless you want them shipped from the US.
I find the US limes bigger and better tasting than the Oz ones.
no
Is There a Lime Shortage at The Moment?
No, lots of Cottee's ones at Coles this evening…
You joke but I'm done with buying limes for cooking - I just buy those small bottles of 99% lime juice - always ready when I need "half a lime, juiced."
Yeah, its $1 for a bottle of lime juice or $1.80 for a single lime……
It's only 99.9% lime juice though…
@jv: and? A real lime is 100% lime juice either….
There's plenty littering the streets of Melbourne.
Heaps in the Yarra!
Really leaves a sour taste
My lime tree has some small ones but nothing too good yet. My lemon tree is going nuts though!
Just have a lemon.
What lime shortage? I don't know?
I saw some at Aldi today.
