Lol basically everything on Kmart is 4.5+
Most of it is Copium and deluded ‘Kmart mums’.

True, i have tried leaving negative review on couple of product, it never got published..(since then have stop relying on their reviews)..

I saw these in store and the look and quality were not great.

Yeah but it was $10 at least

    • Yeah it's Kmart not Boss

It's not even tailored to the model, look at his right arm, aside from the massive sleeve overhang, the whole thing looks terrible on him. Who took that photo?

The 12 year old in me who thought Barney Stinson was the coolest guy ever and wanted to save up just to buy a gooddamn Dimmey's "Sports jacket" no better than this would have flipped at the opportunity to blow a tenner mind you.

How does this work with the tailoring process? Do I need to get measured when I go in or is there a way to submit my measurements with an online order so it's ready when I pick it up?

You got to be kidding? Nobody is tailoring this for you for $10. Even full price at $40

      • +3

Is the tailoring not included? I understand that it's cheap at $10, but it's originally $40 which I would think is pricey enough to also include the tailored fitting process.

          Kmart doesn't do tailoring.

"Tailored" in this blazers context just means it is "slim fit". "tailored" often refers to the style and fit of the garment rather than the process of custom fitting it to an individual.

  • Not OOS for me. Just placed an order in VIC. Every store near me has stock, and option to get delivered. Good enough to look less like a slob at work. YMMV

  • Placed order as well 3977

  • OOS most sites in NSW

it already looks faded and worn saving you years to get that distressed look

  • Only XXL is currently available online, but I really need 4XL

OP, if this is your chance to get a blazer, I'm happy for you.

Bear in mind this general advice: suit jackets/blazers bought off the rack in a shop will rarely fit you well. And this is true whether it's a $10 one from Kmart or a $2000 Italian one. For it to fit you well and have the visual effect you desire, please factor in the price of taking it to your local tailor and getting it adjusted so it looks like it was born to make you look nice. If it's just an adjustment to the cuff length you might be able to get away with it for $25 or so, if it's something else it'll probably cost more.

I don't mean to sound harsh, but (if you want to look good) you can't afford the tailoring, you can't afford the jacket.

A cheap suit that's tailored to fit great will usually look better than a fancy suit that doesn't fit you. Those little adjustments matter. Putting "tailored" in the name of a Kmart jacket isn't tailoring.

    • You're posting in the wrong thread. No one expects bespoke tailored fit from Kmart let alone a 75% off clearance coat

      • The brand/price doesn't matter, so my comment is as applicable here as anywhere else. Having something that fits you well is the most important thing for a sports jacket. If you can get the jacket for $10 and you can make it fit you like a glove for another $30, then you're laughing.

Sports jackets are different to things like hoodies or t-shirts that can be just fine if they look a bit sloppy. The jackets are supposed you look "you-shaped" and flatter the figure.

  • Surely those 2nd and 3rd photos have to be AI generated lmao

    • Not necessarily, Kmart has the coin to hold a runway show every 6 months if it gives them cool photos that help them sell stuff. Are any A-listers going to turn up? Absolutely not, but Kmart doesn't care about that.
