  • Battery: 54V 12.5AH
    Max Range*: 95km

I call BS, you'd be lucky to get 30km.

    Max Hill Climb* 30% Gradient
    Motor Rear 500W

I call even more BS, unless it's under 15m and that's a very big might

probably good for flat places like Melbourne.

Real world tests seem to be in the 50km range.

I picked one up today, my local store has a $49 try to buy. I'll see if it does the hill near my place when I get a chance.

Otherwise I'll go with this one; https://scooterhut.com.au/products/inmotion-commuter-climber…
I prefer the S1 but I'll sacrifice features to take on that hill

      • fair enough. i find it difficult to believe.. although rile-of-thumb is 1/2 the claimed distance is usually closer.

don't forget 60OFF to get $60 off (that popped up anyway).

Cheers! I plan to buy it in-store but will mention it to them to see if I can get that $60 discount too. That area, depending on which direction he goes from the stadium, can be somewhat hilly.

Ps. this bloke is in Perth, that stadium is near where I am, and he's getting about 55-60 km

            @Skullytor: https://scooterhut.com.au/?gad_source=1

if you open the link up in a private Browser tab.
an off of $60 off popped up. just enter fake dets (inc email) and it pops up with the $60 discount coupon & above barcode for in-store.

            good luck.

            • @M00Cow: Awesome! That worked. Just printed the bar-code and will take it in-store tomorrow

        • 50km real world seems possible. I've managed 40km no problem with a few slopes.

          • @Clear: have you got one? or something similar?

I've got a 17.5Ah battery (60v) scooter, I can just get 50km on eco+single motor mode first gear (which tops out at 28km/h) . So I'd be surprised you can get close on a 12.5Ah battery. But OTOH some bloke in Perth who owns this scooter says he can, which is better then my speculation.

            • @M00Cow: I have a mate with a shop and have tested a lot of models including this. It seemed to be pretty efficient with the battery when not maxing out on speed. I'd be still dropping more money on something bigger and better.

  • 60OFF takes total to $1039 ;) not $1049

  • I thought these things were governed to a max speed of 25km?

    • With this one, you can disable it in the app no hacks. I've got a trial loaner right now at home. I haven't enabled 30km/h yet but I can see the option here in the app.

Had one. It's a tank and goes well. Mine was unlocked to 30kmh. Really on a scooter you don't wanna go any faster. And wear a helmet. Ask me how I know, I'm here typing because I wore a helmet. Also how I know it's a tank, I rammed into a gutter doing 20kmh, just had to fix the brake lever and restraighten the steering. RIP the bell (it was smashed off at the base), but the scooter itself no problem.

33km/h with an easy app hack.
Definitely agree, any faster and I want to be sitting on my ebike.
Really happy with this scooter, excellent for commuting, comfortable for taller blokes.
Handles any hills, great acceleration & range for a 100kg dude.

  • Bought one at full price 2 months ago. I'm 80kg and have done +40km easy on relatively flat terrain.

  • Try this code SPECIALOFFER100 it works for me in the cart, and it's not targeted from what I can tell?

    • SPECIALOFFER70 also worked, alas SPECIALOFFER150 didn't, though it did for months.
