Get 6 Months Free Uber One Membership (Normally $9.99/Month) + 6x$5 Uber Cash w/ Eligible Comm Bank Mastercard @ Uber

750

As usual, targeted offer for Commbank Yello customers. Popped up today and showing expiry of 31st Dec. Based on previous offers, jump on when you see it or it can disappear.
I am already on 6 months free from MasterCard deal which expires end of this month so used another expired account to sign on to this deal.
Slightly better than existing MasterCard offer as it is offering $5 Uber Cash each month for 6 months. Do not forget to cancel after 6 months. Enjoy!

Different from the above post. That was for MasterCard users, this should appear under Commbank Yello offers page and additional $30 Uber Cash along with 6 months free.

Thanks, the post from the other day would not work with my Commbank card. I have this offer in my Commbank Yello with a link and it works.

    • Can you confirm if link is unique? Or if offer is tied to the card?

I can't verify sorry, the claim button takes me directly to the uber eats app. There is no way for me to copy the link

Nevermind, I had to delete both the UE and Uber apps for the claim button to redirect to my phones browser. Try this link

Note, the offer I had did not mention $30 Uber Cash. Only 6 months Uber One Membership.

        • Took me directly to the site after clicking claim offer but says that you have to use Commbank card. Took a screenshot and mentioned $5 credit each month. Cheers.

Superb. My last one had just expired, and your "Try this link" worked perfectly. I'm now set to 1 Feb 2025. Cancel Uber One reminder now set for Lamb Day 2025.

Thanks - this link worked when others didn't. Previous free 6 months had expired a few months ago on same card.

I've got the 6 Months Free but no $5 vouchers in the the commbank app :(

  • Worked for me. Thanks :)

  • Easy to cancel? Can you cancel in advance?

    • Yes you can, you will get the message that it is valid until the specific date

  • I renewed using the Mastercard offer before I saw this. How likely is it to disappear despite saying expiry 31 Dec?

    • Based on my experience, it is random. I had Disney and Kayo offers in the past which appeared and then disappeared. Maybe depends on the popularity of an offer.

    • Me too. I renewed with 4 months Westpac offer. Have to signup to this on 2nd Dec before it's 31 Dec expiry.

  • Renewed my UberOne through the CommBank targeted offer. No mention of $30 in my offer. But I have used a similar CommBank UberOne offer previouosly, so I was surprised it let me continue. Will see if it gets cancelled on me.

  • I'm already on Uber One from https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/859385 and seems it won't let you add to it. Says you are not eligible as you already have a membership. Is there a way to claim the offer as well to get the $30 uber cash?

  • I got the offer but without the coupons, think I'll skip out this time as the food always cost 30% more plus fees. If you're a parent it's cheaper to pay your kids $5 to pick it up

    • Depends where you're ordering from. I tend to stack with discounts, e.g. use discounted gift cards to purchase (I bought $1000+ UE gift cards at 20% discount) and stack with restaurant specific discounts like buy one get one free, 30% off Thai ect.

    • Yeah I've found very few times that UE was worth purchasing through. Maybe with discounted gift cards it could be, but even then it might just be break even with prices directly from the restaurant.

Considering the time I've wasted trying to find good deals on UE, I'd have been better off getting a part time job. Maybe for UE.

I'm sure for some people it works out, but I haven't seen any good restaurant deals near where I'd be ordering.

I've given up on UE now.

  • Nothing for me. Stingy CBA for the billions in profit they are making and keeping, and not helping the country as much with cost of living, unlike others like Woollies, David Jones, Uber One, Menulog, Shopback/Westpac who’s somewhat doing a decent job.

At this rate, CBA may pivot towards sentiment Qantas was receiving when Joyce was around. Shameful.

  • Finally - my first ever Commbank Yello offer which I have received that is actually useful.

I usually miss out with the good ones…

  • Thank you! I previously got 6 months free from CommBank and this new one worked as well.

  • I've used this deal 2 times and thanks to OP I have found this offer again for me to use for the 3rd time :D

  • You've already had a membership
It looks like you've already had a membership.
Unfortunately, you're not eligible for this Uber One offer.

  • Thanks, seems to have worked for me, previously had Uber One….looking forward to that first $5 voucher, what a strange way to divvy them out.

  • Worked for me after my previous 6 month offer expiring last week. No $30 tho.

  • Looks like this does not stack with any of the existing offer?

  • Got it Thankyou!

  • Looks like the offer disappeared for me

    • same :(

  • When I tried to stack this deal onto my existing Uber One promo back in August I got the "already had a membership" error. As my free months just expired I tried again from the Commbank Yello link in my CBA app and it worked now - so 6 more free months. Worth trying again for anyone whose membership has since lapsed.

    • Worked for me as well after my previous Uber One trial fully lapsed. Got the 6 months plus the first of the monthly $5 uber cash.
