Generally speaking, most notably for LUX tickets, by the time you are at the cinema counter you are left with separated or in the front seats
But for normal tickets, yeah save the $1.50 ;)
Ooh thanks for sharing! Need to keep this in mind next time I’m at Hoyts
That is incorrect information: You have to book the movie session and pay to get the $12.50 offer, which means you can't avoid the booking fee.
Oh right! That linked Hoyts Foxtel Rewards page doesn't say that at all for some reason.
Once you have purchased your tickets you will then receive a corresponding digital movie ticket to your chosen email address, to present in cinema.
Doesn't shopback sell it for cheaper
Hoyts Pricing (shopback):

It's the same with NRMA Event tickets which are $25. They can't be used on Thursday after 5pm.
Hoyts Pricing @ shopback:
Adult eVoucher Standard: $11.00 - to be used within 4 weeks
Adult eVoucher Standard: $15.95 - to be used within 3 years
LUX $26 and $32.95 has the same use by dates.
Both exclude Sat & Sun from 2pm onwards and public holidays
Foxtel rewards not available for foxtel go :(
Dang it
wow do people actually subscribe to foxtel??
I would never !
I only pay for Prime + Netflix + Stan + Binge + Britbox + DisneyPlus + Paramount but I'm not like those idiots who pay for foxtel !!
Don't forget fetch. Fetch is a thing.
Two subscription services supplemented with a dash of piracy is the way I go
Foxtel offer is not to buy a movie voucher. You are buying a ticket, i.e. have to select a cinema, movie and day and session.
can you sign up for the trial to get tickets?
Remember that if you redeem your ticket in cinema at the box office / candy bar or the self serve machine, you will avoid the $1.50 per ticket online booking fee.
