Samsung Watch Ultra / Watch 7 / Fold 6 / Flip 6 Issues Thread

Figured I start this thread for those that are unfortunate enough to receive duds.

I pre-ordered the Watch Ultra in Silver on launch day, received yesterday and noticed immediately the dial and screen were off center. The 12 and 6 positions are shifted off by a few degrees which drives me insane and can't be unseen. Samsung as usual are useless and I have to wait for the bonus band to be delivered before I can do anything.

On the flip side, my Buds 3 Pro's in silver are perfectly fine (amongst all the noise online).

Anyone else get a dud?

Looks like it's common on the Watch Ultra. Saw the same on reddit last week

One of the major issue is the removal of the tip without breaking.

    • I saw the coverage of the Bud 3 Pro issues (tips ripping, misaligned seams, gaps in housing, dust and debris on unboxing etc) but don't have any of that.

I find it really hard to believe that I'm unlucky enough to be a isolated case. I noticed that even though the pre-order window is about to close, no local stores have the silver/white in stock (Officeworks, JB, Harvey Norman).

      • The Galaxy Buds3 Pro was showing as: "PRE-ORDER: Ships from 20/09/2024" on the Samsung Site yesterday but has now updated to 'not for sale'.

My Amazon order is still stuck on 'Not yet shipped'.

        • quite a fail

  • My Watch 7 (not pro) drains 45% overnight and that hasn't been hooked up to my Samsung phone as yet. I am still using Watch 4 in preparation of being lobbed off.

I hope it is an aberration due to the fact that it is constantly searching for a phone.

    • I've read about this as well, apparently Samsung has just dropped a software update which "may" correct this.

      • After now using this Watch primarily, it now only drains 30% overnight (from 45%) lol. That is already using the latest fix.

Websites say Google Assistant is the culprit. For now I'll try disabling a few apps and see how it goes.

  • Seems to be something off with the current accessories and quality control.

The Galaxy Buds3 Pro have been completely removed from the Samsung store, you can't even buy them now for example due to the QC issues. Just listed as "Not for sale" on the website.

Glad your buds are ok, but sounds like their other products have issues.

I must be one of the lucky ones, I've had my 44mm Watch 7 for a week now. Loving it and getting a day and a half with AOD,Bluetoogh, wifi and Health on consistently. Hope they sort out the issues for those that have them ASAP!
