I received some flight centre gift cards as a present but don’t often travel. Is there any services that allow me to swap these cards with other cards I would use?

That portal is only used to exchange Swap gift cards for one or more digital gift cards from participating retailers listed on the Swap gift card.
A few retailers currently sell Swap gift cards, including Amazon AU, ShopBack and Cashrewards.
I once swapped one of my Swap Celebration gift cards for an eBay gift card (back when eBay participated in the Swap gift card scheme) and the eBay gift card was sent to me within a few minutes. I did not notice anything dodgy about the website whilst I was using it.
In short, this gift card portal will not be helpful for your situation.
