Not exactly the same but y can get 1kg of straight epsom for a fiver https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/121419/epsom-salts-1…

    • Not exactly the same, or even slightly similar.

This post is for a magnesium soak. Epsom is a magnesium soak. You may wanna quibble about chemistry, I thought it was worth posting about a cheaper product you can also put on your garden.

  • i suggest taking magnesium supp instead for better absorption

    • Magnesium absorbs very well through skin contact, as seen if you’ve ever done a session in a floatation tank. (If you haven’t, I highly recommend)

      Personally, I do both! 😁

    Magnesium Bath Flakes 1.8kg $19.99

Can you do a good deal on Lithium ones?

  • This becomes a hard lump of you leave it for too long

  • What in the world is this thing? can someone please elaborate?

    • +2

you add some to a bath and submerge yourself into it. The magnesium reacts with the water and through the process of electrolysis, your battery is charged to 100%

        also good for treating tinea

  • does using these kind of bath flakes ever cause skin irritation like magnesium oil can? While the oil can cause a sting it goes away quickly and doesn't leave any adverse effects. However, while i can take it the kids don't like it if it stings.

wondering if this is a viable alternative after significant physical activity for them.

    • If they might have sensitive skin, probly good to avoid anything scented

You could try epsom salt which come in 375gm pack from colesworth that way y not wasting a kg or more buying a tub if it doesn't agree

      • +1

they don't tend to have sensitive skin but thanks for the suggestion.
