Just wondering has anyone had any experience with ERS multi head split system installed by ECO SOUL
My options via VEU are midea and ERS but there's next to no information when I google ERS.
However it has smart features which is not available on the midea system.
Any information from people that actually have them installed would be greatly appreciated.
Gotta check the brochures. The way that it works here is a lot of these VEU suppliers will order from china a specific build of multi head units with high Kw so it gets more rebate.
In my understanding the known household brands such as MHI, Kelvinator, Mitsubishi Electric etc dont have the specs that will meet the same high Kw combinations (outdoor + multi indoor units) so thats why they are not that cheap compared to these rebranded ones.
In some of the rebranded ones, I know many are either using TCL (SmartUser, etc) and many are using Midea.
Midea is the favourable brands out of these rebadged multi units. However, support is largely depends on the local company that has its brand slapped onto the unit.
For example, TCL is not a bad unit, maybe noisy, but SmartUser is just a terrible company to deal with after sales, just check their reviews.
I haven't seen enough reviews of the Midea ones. I know Midea local support is not that great despite Midea being great overall so its probably better to get rebadged Mideas…
If you check the photos of the units from the brochures of different VEU supplier you will notice similar looking units and specs to indicate they all come from the same factory…
