50

Normally $71.95 each but on special with a 2 for $50 deal.

Blurb below:

This heavy duty, aircraft-grade aluminium torch is made for use in the toughest of conditions. It features an o-ring seal protecting the inside from the elements including rain and dust. The ergonomic design of the torch handle prevents it from slipping from your hand. An ultra-bright 1000 lumen LED light produces a beam that reaches 170 metres and provides up to six hours of continuous use. An adjustable head allows you to focus the beam, and you can utilise the two light modes: high and low, accessible by double-tapping the button. When the battery power is low, simply plug the torch into the supplied mains charger. When the battery is full, the charger will indicate green, and you’re ready to go again.

Agreed. Wurkkos / Wuben / Sofirn torches look much nicer. and higher output to boot

      And Nichia 519a emitter is <chef's kiss>

    • FC11, great light. I've got the older version with Samsung LH351D 4000K 95CRI LED - great torch and very simple to use.

If you're dead set on zoomie, for some reason, https://convoylight.com/collections/z-series/products/convoy…

This is a great alternative to the Wurkkos:

      Extremely bright little torch.

      • @Bacons Are you able to compare your recommendation to this one? Thanks :)

yeah sure; the SC18 is shorter and brighter, but has poor color rendering and bad tint (just sst40 things). Has the regulation that I hate (unregulated)

so unless you need it as short as possible I'd get the FC11C if you can afford.

Not disputing the quality of product but the guy reviewing the video was overselling it…he was just short of saying …."I like this flash light more than other flash light because this is turns on and also it turns off"..

      • +2

I think he did a good enough job of covering what sets this apart from others in an easily understood manner. To be honest I would've sold this light harder than him.

This new driver + emitter is why I recommend the FC11C where I never recommended the previous FC11 before.

Low moonlight mode, simple UI, efficient driver, great beam profile (not artifacty, not tint shifty), high CRI emitter (things look true to life rather than washed out) and at least in my copy it has good DUV (the color of the beam is quite neutral not skewed towards green or magenta) + USB C rechargeable and battery included

I seriously don't have in mind a better beginner friendly "enthusiast" flashlight even in the $100 price bracket.

The only critiques I have is the UI could be a little more refined but at this price it's not an issue.

Oh well, Not the guy reviewing it but you sold it me…(though i dont need one..)..

          • @DaveD: If you've never had a high CRI flashlight before, compare the light side by side with a zoomie/cheap flashlight and you'll notice the difference right away! Skin tones or browns/reds benefit the most. Enjoy

  • Ehh I don't need 2.

I've got a couple of these, picked them up last sale, great lights, worth $20-25 each not $72.

Friends don't let friends buy zoomies.

  • +2

I guarantee this won't output 1000 lumens. I've seen identical crap for $10 on aliexpress. $25 each is not a bargain.

  • Thanks, need a good torch to charge my smiski’s
