Driving cars kills people, 11,000 a year just from pollution in Australia, 1500-2000 a year from accidents, 1000's hospitalised a year from accidents

I hope you'll be pointing this safety warning out out in the next car thread ?

500,000 people estimated a year dieing from heat, the numbers are getting worse because of global warming, 9 million for air pollution around the world, much of that from cars, another 9 million from starvation. Id think its obvious our caring about these things is… lacking

OFT, looks like JV is finally getting a W!

What a momentous moment! * golf claps *

Ooooh yeah, that title is misleading. Boiled wool, except for the bulk of the jacket which is actually synthetic.

  • +3

Synthetic wool? Bahahaha, hard pass especially for that price.

  • +1

what is the benefit of boiled wool as opposed to regular wool?

    • +1

I'm guessing that the main benefit is it's cheaper for them to make.

Other than it would dry quicker if washed…

    • +2

Normally, boiled wool creates a thick felt like fabric (it's boiled after knitting/weaving). It's fantastically warm and robust. And expensive. I don't know how this jacket measures up though.

      • thank you for that! genuinely didnt know :D

Aren't you the same shop that always peddles motorcycle wear for 50% and it's still overpriced?

Rider here and I wouldn't wear your crap even at 50% off.

  • +3

Misleading and you know it. shame on you.

  • +1

This is >50% polyester so not sure you can call it wool…

  • damn it, was hoping for a deal on a synthetic leather jacket instead

  • What’s the MOQ?

  • +1

Do they have this in Fried Wool?

    • +2

      Fried Wool?

      Too many calories…

  • +3

Plastic "wool" (aka fleece) is not real wool. Misleading & shonky tactic. You've been around long enough to know better OP.

    • +1

      Plastic "wool"

      🐑

  • The title is misleading using the word "Wool" when it's polyester. Not going to get away with that on here.

  • Boiled wool? Nah, steamed hams is where it's at
