    Cnet lists the price as $549

    $1199 is just an RRP (Ridiculous Retail Price). No one buys at rrp these days…

    If Amazon US and UK list this same system for basically the same price (if you include shipping), how then is this a bargain?

    Same price from overseas with shipping so local would be better for some - especially since you can pick up. I can't comment on the product (although Amazon reviews are favourable) though this price is cheaper than other stores in AU - just check shopbot. The CNET price just refers to the Amazon US price.

    the company doesnot market this product in Australia.. So When it comes to warranty, you can not go to the company.. i would be better off buying a bose hifi or atleast buy a sony surround sound system from Grays online.!!!
