The situation with paper coupons is pretty silly in the US. Manufacturers print coupons all over the place: newspapers, magazines, flyers, etc. and consumers cut them out and present them at the checkout to get the discounts. It's not unusual for a customer to present a clutch of coupons, tying up checkout time. Before barcodes, there was an entire industry in neighbouring poor nations, e.g. Caribbean, keying in coupon codes for the shops to get the rebates from the manufacturers. What a waste of human resources up and down the chain. I hope we never have such silly arrangements here.
But….. I bet those human resources are now unemployed and are literally eating dirt.
I'm sure there are alternatives to keying in coupons or eating dirt. If not, then either the whole human endeavour is a big cosmic mistake or I'm a grumpy person. Probably the latter. :(
Yes, I don't doubt that happens. But you can't even give them jobs keying in coupons now, since computers took over. Apparently paper coupons peaked in 1997.
The poor in the US are not doing that great either though not quite eating mud. I don't think the bankers are eating mud yet.

I think you are right. I only watched it once but I did not hear a specific slur. There was a lot of trash talk that was racist and highly offensive. I don't want to know the specific slur. It was an evil man with a chip on his shoulder who deserved to be punched. I think the guy who did it was with the lady. I am disappointed he waited that long. Members of the crowd were saying stuff like "come on guys" acting like they were both out of line, when in fact the moron on the stage deserved to be taken out the back and beaten even more senseless than he already was when he opened his troll mouth for the first time.

I dunno about you guys, but I never see anyone walk up to a caucasian chick & say "me love you long time"; that's why I'm calling it as a racial slur!
The upshot is; whatever you want to label the behaviour; it's just not cool (unless you're a total bogan), and the sleazebag got just what he deserved…I truly hope the assailant got away with it! ;)
