stutter slow and crash very below average worth $199 new $89 the following day after purchase
perfect for prams to bite on

Bought this exact model from eBay for $294 and I have to say it's pretty shite. Intention was to use it as a wall calander and could justify paying $$$ for the Skylight calendar.

This is basically RRP now. Not a deal. Don't pay more than $199 for this. P11 on sale (regularly) at $299 is a better overall package.

      FR! not ozbargain certified

Bought this to stream my eufy camera - it struggled to stream even a 2k video stream, 4k stream buffered like crazy and wasn't sustainable. Navigating the OS and between apps is slow and painful.

Avoid - get an iPad or Samsung A9+

    Returned mine.

      What iPad would cost $300.

Also if you're going to pay for a (full priced) iPad, you would consider the Samsung Galaxy Tab S series, not the entry level A series.

      • You can regularly find a decently new iPad on eBay or FB for $300-400, I ended up picking up a 6th gen mini for $350 off FB marketplace - was well worth the extra $50.

        • Yeah, if you can find a great deal like that, absolutely. It's a different proposition - private sale doesn't have warranty etc.

I actually really like this tablet. It's a shame there are only a few apps where the styles is helpful and there is palm cancellation, otherwise very happy. Maybe I'm used to a lot worse. 😂

    • No I think you happy considering the price.. I have the same table after my boy crack his Samsung s6 lite. We could not tell much difference…

Its $300 entry level tablet, people expect it perform like $600 tablet…

  • I've played around with this one in the 4gb flavor. It's ok for basics but was hoping the 8gb model would be a bit more smooth.

    Needed for kumon online.

I don't think this is a good deal, very average tablet. I might pay $150 it lol.

For the same money (or less) pick up the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro from AliExpress. It's a much faster tablet, with a bigger, better screen. No LTE, but how many people are actually using that anyway?

    • +1

And with AliExpress you can guarantee a wait of 3-6 weeks, no local warranty and targeted spam

      • +2

Mine turned up within 8 days. It depends on which seller you buy from.

Obviously no local warranty, but that's the trade off for paying half of what you'd pay for the equivalent local model.

I got this by stacking multiple coupons for $210 at TGG when it was on sale for $299 and sales man was ok give further $19 off and final price was $280.

I have used $30 off for $100 spend voucher and $20 Gold Service Desk voucher so further $50 off ($30+$20).

NAB goodies was having $10 cash back for $100 spend.
So paid $115 with my card and $115 with my wife NAB card. Which gave $20 additional Cashback.

    So total,
    1. salesman reduced by $20
    2. TGG voucher $50
    3. nab Goodies $20
    Total - $90 off

Sale price $299 and $90 off. Got it for $210.

Really good price for the tab with LTE.
